This is exactly it, Gawn in the few games he played looked great, and it is extremely rare to get a ruckman who looked as good as him at such a young age. Can't wait to see the big fella out on the park. To address the OP, can't believe people would want Clark in the ruck after his performances up forward this year.

No injuries for me, it was a fixture clash with cricket but at this stage it looks like I'm available! Looking forward to it.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHRIS DAWES
Little Richard replied to Norm Smith's Curse's topic in Melbourne Demons
Looking forward to seeing the realisation that Dawes is a good quality full forward in his own right. Has his head screwed on right and I think he is the kind of guy to thrive on the added responsibility. Hopefully I'm not wrong. -
Jack will have his spot on the wing or half back. Has all the assets to play the wing really, really well and in addition he is 196cm and 95kg - imagine trying to match up on him. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Watts is a prototype outside mid.

I heard that when he goes for a swim, Jack Viney doesn't get wet, the water gets Jack Viney.

http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/pc-port-adelaide-power--mitchell-banner There are his career stats. Didn't set the world on fire but played some good games. Seems to be able to find the goals.

You're delusional if you think a junior is going to come into the AFL and become a good player without any kind of coaching or mentoring.
-
What are you basing that on though? I'm basing my point on the fact that he has seasoned, proven (quality) forwards like LeCras, Kennedy and Lynch as well as strong leaders around the club such as Embley, Kerr, Glass and so on. At the MFC there is no one, particularly in the forward area who could have taught him and mentored him. As well as that, a premiership coach, a very well credentialed football department and a notoriously strong club culture as opposed to our (I'm hoping now 'formally') crap heap. No doubt all this stuff has contributed strongly to make Kennedy the player he is. Ps. I believe being in his home state has positively contributed to his footy too. Not saying he would have gone home but playing close to home as opposed to a thousand kilometers would help.

Sure WYL but he is a human who has grown up in circumstances and a community we probably can't understand or empathise with.

I'm sure the wound opens for a lot of other teams supporters too OD. Every team passed on him remember? It seems like Melbourne supporters have a bad habit of hanging on to the mistakes of the past. Put it this way - I highly doubt Darling would have us higher up on the ladder on his own... he would be lucky to be half the player at the MFC than what he is now. If anyone had a number 21 put on their jumper you'd have to seriously question their sanity.

Mitch Banner has been delisted today by Port, so does anyone think he is worth a spot via delisted FA? 22 year old midfielder who I think has some of the qualities that Neeld likes - hard at it and hard working.

Reported that Port Adelaide are considering rookie listing Liam for next season.
-
Lol maybe a little, but I have a couple of the guys on facebook and all I see is pictures of Jamar, Sylvia and Moloney walking around without shirts on.

Thanks for the memories Beamer, loved your work up until this year and good luck in Brissie... I'm sure you'll be spending a lot more time with your top off.

From the bottom of a sauce bottle – 3 way trade
Little Richard replied to Number 2's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yes get this deal done. So I'm guessing after this happens 39 will go to North for Pedersen maybe. -
Lol straight back to your old ways RR, no change in the agenda hey? To be honest I'd prefer to have Atley than Darling if we could go back in time. If we look at the net gain for this draft, IMO it has been one of our most successful in recent years. Aside from the Cook disaster, McDonald, Howe and McKenzie (promoted rookie) all look to be long term, good players for the club. I still have faith that Davis can make an impact.
-
Congratulations to Couch and also Luke Tynan, great efforts. How many goals did Fitzy kick for the year?
-
Drafted as a forward/ruck so I'm very keen to see him down there, hopefully next season at some stage. Loving his work in the back half though.
-
Lol I'm sure Phil has the money to donate a few quarter-pounders to the cause.
-
Should have been doing this training two years ago.
-
That is true. The way I see it is that there are a number of players (probably around 20) who are all rated top 10 or so by various experts and recruiting commentators. Hence there have to be at least a couple of players that are rated highly by some camps (hopefully the MFC) available at 20.
-
I don't think they'd take rubbish + rubbish + 20 for 13. I feel that GWS manage their list well and will realise that it is in better shape without Spencer and Petterd on it. Don't mind the lateral thinking though, could work if we had something better to offer up.
-
I must have missed something, what happened so that they lost him for nothing?
-
Jeez that is really bad if true. I was always under the impression that Vlastuin was level headed and very professional so that is interesting. It makes me angry that a kid can make a comment like that without knowing anything about the inner workings of the club. How about just being grateful for the opportunity that very few get and so many would kill for.
-
To add to that, I have a feeling Kennedy will slip to late teens, maybe (hopefully) even our pick at 20.
