WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JESSE HOGAN
Little Richard replied to Little Richard's topic in Melbourne Demons
He should be, O'Meara was for the Suns so I assume the same rules apply. -
Barret is a joke of a journo. The guy who does the cricket scores in my local Leader paper has much more credit than this [censored].

Tim Harrington's position as "List Manager"
Little Richard replied to Watts Jurrah Dunn?'s topic in Melbourne Demons
How about you give him time to prove that the players we have picked up at his discretion are going to do more for us than the players we let go? Dawes, Byrnes and Pedersen will both be immediate starters in the 22, Rodan too if he is fit. Barry might well be up there early though I don't know a whole lot about him. So we have picked up these guys in exchange for a few players who have really struggled to break into the team. There is a clear point to it and it makes a lot of sense if you ask me. I was in favour of keeping Gys but it's done now, so have a cry if you must but we move on and watch as the new additions add a whole lot more to the side than the rejects we offloaded. -

Can you refresh my mind? Come to think of it he did something fairly recently didn't he? Edit: Checked it out, I'd completely forgotten about the racism thing, forget I suggested him. -

Justin Sherman anyone? Is heading to the preseason draft via agreement with the doggies. -
Of course, we have no credibility and we are going to cop it until these guys get out there and show the media that we are going the right way. That's what you get for being the laughing stock of the league for so long. Exactly it old dee!

These knobs don't realize that our trade week can't be judged until the players we have picked up are actually doing their thing. That is, when Dawes is having a 30 goal season, Pedersen playing his role and Cale and Gys not being able to crack a game for their respective sides. Barrett is a poor mans Hutchy.

I knew a guy who used to do these contests too, his name was Range Rover

What's the trade period without clubs trying to offload their rejects for way over inflated prices?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CAMERON PEDERSEN
Little Richard replied to Hannibal's topic in Melbourne Demons
Leigh Brown was 193cm, he was pretty useful. Could impart some knowledge onto Pedo. -
I really hope Gys doesn't go for Pederson, would be an unfair deal for us. I know a lot of people won't agree with this but I reckon it isn't entirely unreasonable to think that Jack Fitzpatrick could fill the role that we are trying to get Pederson for in 2013. At 200cm and 93kg (start of this year) he has shown that he is adept at playing deep forward as well as in the ruck for Casey. Although he still has a bit of growing to do the fact that we will have Clark and Dawes there to ensure that he gets the 3rd/4th defender means he shouldn't be totally out of his depth. Anyway I think it's definitely not beyond him next year.

I do enjoy Worcestershire..

Could start a new game, Range Rover hunting. High post rate, same post structure, same attitude to JW... same troll. -

Good get I think. The fact we aren't spending picks or players to get him and that he is probably on minimal money makes this a great pick up. Can play a role up forward next to Byrnes and hopefully his body holds up so that he can string some games together. Adds experience and skill and he could potentially be a specialist sub. -
I just mean the type of player but I agree with what you are saying. I was all for trading him earlier this year as my frustration with him after the last 8 years had built to huge levels but after his consistent run home I'm filled with (probably blind) hope again that he can get it together next season. Might be going over the top but I seriously believe Col has everything to be in the top 15 players in the league, he just has to put it together. Not sure if he ever will but time will tell.
-
Wow if that is true the Suns have pulled off a ripper deal.
-
We can forget about Brent, no Jamar at Brisbane. I think we'll really miss Jared in the backline, where he dominated this year but it opens a spot up for somebody else so hopefully it's a case of short term pain, long term gain. They guys we lost might have been better when they were good footy players but all of them (excluding Riv), for different reasons, had their best footy at the MFC behind them. You're living in the past, pants!

Sounds like Col Sylvia mk 2

You'd be surprised at the trolls that come on here.

If you squint your eyes really hard and tilt your head to the left it looks a little bit like Cale... Cale or any other tall, slim guy with brown hair.
-
I really hope you can too, I've just learnt to be cynical after following the dees for a while and I'm sure you can understand that. I trust that Neeld is a man who knows exactly what he wants and what kind of player will be best for the team. I do have more faith this year than in recent years and I'm looking forward to seeing a quality player picked at 4 (Wines in my opinion is our guy).

You don't think this is a unique year do you? People say this every year, and the same thing happens; one or two start well and fit in right away, a few start slow and take a while to find their feet but eventually become starting 22 and many just never make it.
