  1. Considering what we've been through over the last six years, I'll be very happy if we can pull out 6 - 7 wins for the season. Even that may be ambitious. Baby steps.
  2. Nathan Jones and Lynden Dunn out, Maia Westrupp and Dom Barry in?
  3. If injury forces a change, I'd have Clisby in for Georgiou (assuming Garland goes another week in the seconds for touch). If Watts doesn't pull up, big Maxy comes in and rotates through the forward line. Frawley to go between back/forward as required.
  4. Great game from him this afternoon. Looking to be a real drafting masterstroke. Can we get the title of the thread changed though? It's a bit misleading.
  5. It's funny that one of those highlights constituted Watts picking up the ball in traffic and getting tackled.
  6. Highlights tell an interesting story... If I'd never seen him play before I'd have thought from those videos that he is a 40-50 goal a year forward.
  7. A couple of weeks ago I would have said Jamar and Maxy would be good to have in the side together, especially as Maxy isn't a total spud up forward and his size is a real handful for a key defender. Pedo would have been the one in line to be dropped to make way for Max however Pedo's game last weekend was really great so he gets another one for me.
  8. I think he's definitely overrated but that's a bit rich. Give me Natanui over Spencer or any of the other ruckmen we have any day.
  9. I'm not as impressed by Templeton as some are so far, but boy haven't we heard that line before? I'd have loved if we forgot about the attitude for a second when we were considering Dustin Martin, or Jack Darling.
  10. It's natural for him to love the club and the guys he played with for 9 years and I'd expect Cross to be in the same boat. As long as they give their all while they're in the red and blue, it's forgiven.
  11. Six years of a highlight per game blinded them I suppose.
  12. As I said above, I hope he gets what he deserves. However, I don't know what he deserves because I don't know what happened and neither do you.
  13. The guy obviously has some serious issues and in this case, I hope he gets what he deserves. However jibes such as 'what a pathetic loser' aren't really required, especially considering Liam's circumstances, which we can't even begin to imagine. You just can't refrain, can you h_h?
  14. No to Strauss. He hasn't done enough to earn a call up and although it is claimed he is a great kick, he can't actually get his hands on the ball at AFL level.
  15. And the McDonald's endorsement for Phil. Don't forget the McDonald's.
  16. Or continue to stagnate and await delisting at the end of the season.
  17. What sort of impact caused it, if you don't mind me asking Lamashtu? I remember Petterd was in a pretty serious state when he punctured a lung a few years ago.
  18. Viney is usually good at disposing of the ball but a few of his kicks and handballs on Saturday night were trash, well below what he normally shows. Edit: DE of 55% and 6 clangers, well below his best.
  19. Should have popped my monocle in surprise and poked them in the leg with my cane.
  20. Thanks, I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to it to be honest so I just assumed it was something along the lines of stress fractures.
  21. Do you have some inside information on the Hawkins injury Machsy or was this written somewhere? I also thought it was stress fractures that were plaguing him last season.
