Watching yesterday, I couldn't help noticing how far the umpires were away from the action, one umpire paid a free to Gold Coast, from about 80m's away., incidentally the resulting free went out of bounds on the full. But the umpires must be instructed where they stand, they just seem too far away to get the 50 50 ones right.

No apologies needed, I think Bail is the ultimate confidence player, I think he has some great skills but doubts his own ability.
-
Just watch the Malthouse squirmathon, whoo boy was that fun, Question how long before we can watch the replay on AFL.com? I need to sing the song again... PS Don't you hate it when you can't see the action in the last quarter because the other team supporters are getting up and leaving !

The marketing of the logo etc is equivalent to Demon shop that no one knows is there, I personally like the shield, but a blood curdling devil/demon would be a great mascotty thing.

Byrnes...In a heartbeart, forget that he kicked two goals last week, he was lucky to be on the end of a great run by Watts and kicked another 30m out. Didn't see him do anything else.

I would have thought that "the Wizard" might be considered a true rover, albeit mainly on the forward line. but his anticipation at the drop of the ball was as good as any.

NAB Challenge 2 - Melbourne v Geelong

When you consider that we have given them 3 goals by kicking backwaeds and gifting them the ball, a 5 goal 3/4 deficit is reasonable -

Some of the best commentary I've heard in years on that game. -
I understand you can get the same effect by slapping 2 Paul Salmons together

Hoody I will agree to meet you there as 50/50, but I don't think Vlad and the boys will see it that way

How many Sons have played in their Fathers numbers, off the top of my head I can't think of any

The point that a few seem unable to grasp, is that a small fish in a smaller pond, seems proportionally more important than a medium size fish in a whirlpool. This is where Colin has been living. Let me put it in plainer terms, the damage done to Melbourne by Colin leaving is greater than the damage done to Colliewobbles for Daisy leaving, they will be able to cover the loss, Melb less likely so, therefore (ipso facto) CS is a more important player (not better) than Daisy.
-
I didn't say he was better than Daisy, I said he was worth more! Read posts pass the first line
-
NO I disagree, as it stood before he signed, he was a more important player to MFC than Daisy was to CFC, due to the number of A graders that Colliwobbles have and the dearth of talent on our books, I have watched him since his first 1 handball game against North, he was marketable (hence the Demon shop stuff) and he was unpredictable, but I was always happy to see him back in the side.
