Yes I remember Oakleigh Districts in the 70's sounds the same as Doveton in the 80's. wasnt really safe during daylight if you played for their opposition.

Did not mind Thornbury, I played with UHSOB, couple of suburbs away, so tough match, tough to support the seniors but never really a problem, but we never over stayed our welcome. Only played a couple of times about the 1980's if i remember. All a bit of a blur now, throw in a marriage and breakup, I do not remember and not sure i want to remember it all.
