Went to many interstate games most even but that was some time ago, prior 1974. The trips home in the bus were “interesting “ a lot of youthful emotions etc mum was never there. Or dad !

I would be disappointed if we took this route. Very short term benefit if at all, and only able to be recognised as good or bad after some years. Better to develop our own, younger and faster keep the pressure on the opposition and play “our football” types for the longer view .
