Point taken BBub and Diesel. Its probably not too bad a drive once you get on the freeway Is the assumption that the Saints will re-allign themselves with Frankston? and if so, we will ditch Sandringham and allign ourselves with the Scorpions? Seems strange that for ages we have had no developments in our quest for our own training facilities, and now we have two on the pipeline
-
Didn't say I had sympathy for them. Its about time we've found a place where we can train all summer round. But you'd be naive to think that an extra hour to hour and a half of driving per day might not be so popular with the players Do we know if the facilities are any better/worse than they are at the Junction?
-
While it sounds like a good development for the club I've got to wonder how the players feel about driving all that extra distance on a daily basis
-
I thought i'd be doing MFC a favour by bringing two people who moved down from Sydney to their first AFL match, as they wanted to take an interest in footy Unfortunately they are now Hawthorn supporters
-
On the positive side, you've got to love those ins All 3 will be important contributors to our side in 08
-
No prizes for working out who is leading the official tally of clangers after round 1 Travis with 5
-
I thought Buckley showed something in the midfield that we haven't seen in quite a while Speed !!!!! Now he just needs to learn how to kick, but i thought he was a highlight on a horrible day
-
Wow - i know its early days, but good to see some of the later draft picks forcing their way into the side Newton pick 43 in the 04 draft Buckley pick 53 in the 05 draft Weetra pick 62 in the 06 draft Garland pick 46 in the 06 draft

Agreed. I'm drugged up right now at work (just had my morning coffee)

I thought it was fine, given that it was the first entry of a blog, introducing who you are Hopefully more Dees content next time, and less about other clubs Also your profile picture kind of contradicts what you say about not fitting the sterotype
-
Not that i am a strong supporter of Gardner, but hasn't he delivered on this promise. Bar hold ups with the stadium construction outside of his control, we would have been moving into our new training and admin facilities next month
-
Great news if true. Any hint to your source?
-
its an indefinite suspension from the leadership group. no doubt he'll be reinstated by the half way mark of the season not the end of the world
-
Although it wouldn't be wise to feature current players, it would be great to see some sort of legends match. would be a nice way of getting some of our past stars to have a role in helping the club
-
I also got my second pack today Hate to think what this is costing the club
-
I can't imagine in a season where we are trying to generate as much positive hype as possible for the club, we would choose to play away from our majority demographic. In our 150th year, the only noteworthy publicity we have received has been the sacking of our CEO, and the off-field antics of some of our misbehaved players

He's got to be a big chance, with Nathan Ablett's spot up for grabs
-
I think its disgusting personally 6 weeks suspension for breaking the team rules Going 120km in a 50 zone, which could have killed someone earns a slap on the wrist Wonder if things would be different if they weren't favourites for the premiership and he wasn't the reigning norm smith medalist

Tragic news for someone so young I never thought a Television talkback show for footy would ever catch on, but Clinton made it work One of the best commentators in the game, if not the best RIP Clinton
-
FB Jace Bode, James Frawley, Kyle Cheney HB Ricky Petterd, Tom McNamara, Cale Morton C Clint Bartram, Jack Grimes, Simon Buckley HF Isaac Weetra, Stefan Martin, Colin Garland FF Addam Maric, Michael Newton, Matthew Bate Foll John Meesen, Nathan Jones, Lynden Dunn Looks like a nice balance of talls and smalls. I see a lot of potential in this list

Yep an inspiring song. But would not work I really don’t think we’ll ever see a culture of fans singing/chanting at the footy. Soccer has large periods of play without anything significant happening. The chants help create atmosphere that is needed, especially during dull games. Get them singing during the game, and you will get them singing with atmosphere before the game. PS. I hate Liverpool

I found it inspiring well done !!!
