I was just thinking that too. Clubs have held off doing that for some years now, but I think once one does it, there might be some flood gates creaking at the hinges. If a club like Freo decides to make a preek of themselves and not play fair, they deserve to be taught a lesson IMO

Really? Preuss was recruited as a back up for Gawn, with the understanding he'd learn from the best in the game and maybe take over from him in a few years. Perhaps get a few games with or without Gawn in the mean time. Not sure i'd call that a failure 12 mths down the track
