    Personally I'm pleased we got Roos and PJ supplied by the AFL. A priority pick? Meh.... If a PP is what the Lions are after, give it to them. That wouldn't be in the top 5 of my wishes if I was a big Brissy fan.

    Don't know about "transferred" but they had Martin Pike, Lynchy and Chris Johnson. Wasn't Johnno Brown a F/S? Jarryd Molloy, Brad Boyd and a couple of others missed out

    Yeah, I thought the same thing when Vickery's name came up. Hope Roughy's responding well to treatment.

    As a forward, he should be able to kick the ball with a modicum of accuracy, which he does not. The Geelong game last year was the best I have seen him play. He can clunk a ball, not as well as Gawn, but he competes like a beast and will bring the ball down. He also likes hurting opponents, which is a bonus.

    Until they change the rules to make it a true one on one ruck contest. Didn't the doggies do this last year for a run of games? IIRC it worked out quite well for them. If a team has a poor tap ruckman, playing another midfielder makes sense, especially a tall one like Bont.

    Uncle Bitters has done his job getting the lads impregnated dc. Now it's a waiting game to see if the outcome is worthy of the RMS... and more importantly, which category they fit into.

    Regardless of what you think Watts weighs, he certainly doesn't have a ruckman's body and he's too valuable to be put in that position. Every game I saw where he spent time in the ruck he was physically smaller than his opponent. We are a better team when Pedo is playing forward/2nd ruck. Watts isn't the long term solution in that position

    Tracc is a better basketball er than Watts. Following you logic he should be our 2nd ruck. Watts is a highly valuable forward hitting his peak who should not be used in the ruck where big guys crash their bodies at each other. The ruck position isn't about "a bit of a challenge" chap.

    Trading Spencer could give us a useful draft pick, given we have no first rounder and our second is likely to be used on Hibberd. Does leave us exposed though if Gawn goes down.

    And how'd that go for us? Mitch Clark turned out to be a big flop and Roos did a much better job at getting the right people to the club.
