Anyone else notice Glen Archer got a fine and conviction for assaulting the official on the field during his son's game? Claimed is was self defense. He ran onto the field of play due to a fight between two players and he honestly believes he was defending himself! Lol! The umpire and a runner asked him to leave, but he thought he'd punch the runner in the face, breaking his glasses. He told the magistrate off in court upon hearing her decision and his lawyer had to tell him to sit down. Too funny! Another AFL idol who thinks he can do no wrong and the rules apply to others. It's his second conviction for assault. Wonder if this still permits him to remain a board member at Norf. No doubt their constitution is rubbery enough to cover this.
