Aaron vandenBerg not going - signs a new deal!!!
Are we "bending over backwards"? I'd say the FD rate him well, are ok about him leaving if the right deal can be met, but would prefer him to stay. They would be accommoding to his family needs either way.

There would be nuances to the deal, such as extra time off to go home, flights for his mother to visit, etc. The world isn't black and white.

I think Burton is a good player and should get them a high 2nd round pick

Connor Idun
Didn't we draft Petty for a similar role?

Josh Mahoney - Trade Radio 2/10/18
If Hogan goes to Freo he'll get $1.2m. No way we'd pay May anywhere near that.

So did they use the Richmond doc or what???

Anton Tohill
So can he be signed by any club as a Cat 2 rookie or must he go in the draft?

Yes, I fear Hunt will become Casey depth KK improves our backline, assuming he passes medical by Richmond doctor- Dylan Shiel
What picks do the Hawks have to offer? IMO none that are high enough to do the deal. Not that we would, but we could offer 6 (if Hogan leaves) and 2019 1st rounder (if AFL approves). Can the Hawks beat that?- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Which chap are you talking about?- Farewell Jesse Hogan
No he didn't. He made a joke of how his mum reads everything on social media and it makes for an interesting tuesday family dinner. He said watch out cause she'll hunt you all down, partic Demonland4276 It was clearly a joke- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Of course. Who is it though?- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
Everyone was poor in our last game. Not everyone was as good as Lewis the two games before. It's easy to cherry pick individual games- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
And yet he was amongst the best in the 2 finals we won. Funny how we only see what we want when our eyes are half closed.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
If he stays it may explain why we asked the AFL for permission to trade next years 1st round pick, which goes some of the way towards potentially getting May and KK.- Dylan Shiel
St Kilda offering Shiel $8m over 6 years according AFL website- Farewell Jesse Hogan

Both 1 and 2 were shouted down about a month or 6 wks ago. Some children demanding the thread be closed, others claiming trade scenarios were a waste of time as he was 'settled'. The usual suspects telling us what we are allowed to think. There was some good discussion on what his value might be both on our list and as a trade. I'd like him to stay, but understand now is a good time to maximize trade benefits if he is open to a move. He's a quality player, but we have the ability to significantly improve our list should he go. Doubt we'd get 2 x 1st rounders next year, certainly not when he becomes a FA.- Andrew Gaff
If he plays well through the season filling an outside need and we win the flag, I'd possibly be happy to see him on $1.5m. I see him as complimenting our list very well and making immediate significant impact (not with fists) Alas, we cannot see the future...- Andrew Gaff
If Gaff picked us and WCE chose not to match, would the realisation that he's cost us no picks/trades ease the shock of what we pay him? Are we prepared to offer $1.1m for 5+ years knowing he came without sacrificing picks/trades? Or are they completely separate considerations? What do us supporters think? What would the FD think?- Farewell Dom Tyson
Has Essendon written all over it- Farewell Jesse Hogan
I've mention the similarity before. Stuie-lite. Edit. Are you talking about Wise? ? - WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
