I thought he certainly did enough to hold his place. We were pox on the weekend. He was one of the least pox.- Ollie Wines

Yes deiter, you do disrespectfully label posters and call posters names. Both of those were put downs, but i understand you cannot see that. And I'll add another of your spurious judgements here: You don't know me. You jump to conclusions on what other posters think and then go on wild rants with little relevance to what they actually wrote. The 'Ethans of the world' post wasn't even quoting him, such was your hurried frenzy to high horse. You are so focussed on your outrage that you find copying and pasting the opinions of others easier than formulating it in any detail in your own words - its lazy, condescending and laughable (possibly a breach of copyright too). Ethan's smack down should have been enough, but you had to go and put the other foot in your mouth. No doubt you'll continue with this boorish drivel... it's one of the prices we pay for freedom of speech. Looking forward to tonights game. Go Dees!- The No T$ No B$ Thread
So dieter, somehow it's OK for you to disrespectfully label and call posters names AND show distain for a bunch of cricketers behaving poorly? Seems more than a touch of hypocrisy there. I don't GAF about these players or their individual penalties, I just think it's been whipped up into a hysterical frenzy by the media and become more about revenge, perception and the bottom line (sponsorship, IPL, etc) and less about proportional response. Will this stop players ball tampering or behave poorly? Fat chance.- Angus Brayshaw
Really? What a lot of rubbish. Granted, he's not likely to play ruck or a key position, but with about 10 years potentially left in his career you don't think he could develop into a rebounding hbf or a high half fwd? I certainly think barring injury he could. But I'm sure we'd all like him to succeed in the midfield.- The No T$ No B$ Thread

Yep, new ball more often and no 'manipulation' of the ball at all. No shining one side, no sweat or saliva, no returns on the bounce, only umpire to adjust ball. Min penalty 10 runs and match fee. Just because shining one side has happened for 100 years doesn't mean it's not unaturally manipulating the ball to advantage.- The No T$ No B$ Thread

Yes and no, od. I'm in the camp of 'give him more time'. Plenty of tall timber out there taking 4-5 years to come on. eg. Gawn, Hawkins. But in the end, we have to trust that the fd will assess the situation better than us mere mortals. Otherwise we'd be pulling out the little hair we have left!- Sam Weideman
