Sure, but I responded to your post which claimed: "All those “Dees better without Hogan” articles and posts couldn’t have helped his frame of mind re staying. So now you're referring to TV. Not sure Hogan watched the Geelong game on TV if he was there in the box next to Lever. I think he'd be nothing but wrapped for Weid. If Hogan pays no attention to AFL media, which is not uncommon (and also healthy) for players, it would have zero impact on his frame of mind re staying.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Paywall. Does it say Jesse reads Demonland or pays attention to social media?- Rumour File
Sounds like this is going too be a crazy trade period. What else is in the mix #ethandoesdallas ?- Farewell Jesse Hogan
You honestly think he reads Demonland or media/social media at all, especially at trade time? I am confident that players are told not to look at footy forums and to keep their social media accounts closed.- Farewell Jesse Hogan

I'm bookmarking this. You are referring to the food pig?- The No T$ No B$ Thread

Yes, as i wrote, RFA in 2020, not 2021 as you stated. But he can leave at the end of his contract, RFA or not, under the scenario I mentioned.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
What, no riddle? All of the bolded parts are your opinion, of course. Not fact, a given or even the view of many here. One of your points is plain wrong. Hogan can just leave at the end of next year. He can go into the draft, nominate his price and go elsewhere, particularly if Freo finish bottom or near bottom. And he's a RFA in 2020, not 2021.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
FWIW, Karl Langdon just mentioned on SEN that he bumped into Jesse's mum outside Optus Stadium last week and "bombarded her with questions". She said Jesse loves living in Melbourne, he was homesick initially, but given his dad's death, does not have that drawcard anymore. He said she told him she loves coming to Melbourne city about 6 times per year to visit Jesse (I thought she lived in Melbourne???). Langdon flippantly added Hogan would be more likely to go to another Melbourne based club than to WA. This is Karl Langdon, though, so grain of salt.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
We have Tim Smith and, if he comes, Preuss can play a bit of tall forward.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
He had his exit meeting with the FD earlier in the week. Apparently he meets his manager today. A couple of notable posters with good sources have said he's decided to leave. We will know his intentions soon enough.- Thanks Cameron Pedersen
Stuie would argue that point here if he was still posting!- Farewell Jesse Hogan
You might want to hold back on the overuse of exclamation marks and emojis until he is traded (If he is). You're going to need them then.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Dododo will offer pick 58 for May and wonder why they are laughing at him- Josh Kelly
Is Kelly a FA next year (excuse my ignorance)? If so they'd be better trading high for him now rather than getting 1 pick as FA compo next year- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Maybe, not convinced though. I think clubs look at points value of picks to balence up trades. This is where swaps of later picks comes into it. The gamble comes with future picks, because clubs are hoping they don't drop down the ladder significantly. This worked for us in our Lever future 1st rounder. Personally I think the club would want May and a 2nd rounder for pick 5. But we shall see soon enough.- Josh Kelly
Wouldn't it be delicious if we traded for Kelly this year and beat Norf to their intended punch next year!- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Doesn't make sense. The pick number isn't critical but it is critical in a trade? If the pick number isn't critical, we should offer pick 78 for Shiel. That'll get it done, right? Of course pick 5&6 are more valuable than 10&16, regardless of whether we trade them or use the in the draft.- Some Filth Humour
Look at the size of his head. Snipers dream!- Farewell Dean Kent
Hopefully in this case he was front ended and his contract next year is for $2.50- Farewell Jesse Hogan
To be more accurate, we paid 2017 pick 10 and probably 16 this year plus late pick swaps for Lever. A bargain IMO. - Farewell Jesse Hogan
