  1. Yes, as i wrote, RFA in 2020, not 2021 as you stated. But he can leave at the end of his contract, RFA or not, under the scenario I mentioned.
  2. What, no riddle? All of the bolded parts are your opinion, of course. Not fact, a given or even the view of many here. One of your points is plain wrong. Hogan can just leave at the end of next year. He can go into the draft, nominate his price and go elsewhere, particularly if Freo finish bottom or near bottom. And he's a RFA in 2020, not 2021.
  3. FWIW, Karl Langdon just mentioned on SEN that he bumped into Jesse's mum outside Optus Stadium last week and "bombarded her with questions". She said Jesse loves living in Melbourne, he was homesick initially, but given his dad's death, does not have that drawcard anymore. He said she told him she loves coming to Melbourne city about 6 times per year to visit Jesse (I thought she lived in Melbourne???). Langdon flippantly added Hogan would be more likely to go to another Melbourne based club than to WA. This is Karl Langdon, though, so grain of salt.
  4. We have Tim Smith and, if he comes, Preuss can play a bit of tall forward.
  5. He had his exit meeting with the FD earlier in the week. Apparently he meets his manager today. A couple of notable posters with good sources have said he's decided to leave. We will know his intentions soon enough.
  6. Stuie would argue that point here if he was still posting!
  7. You might want to hold back on the overuse of exclamation marks and emojis until he is traded (If he is). You're going to need them then.
  8. Dododo will offer pick 58 for May and wonder why they are laughing at him
  9. Is Kelly a FA next year (excuse my ignorance)? If so they'd be better trading high for him now rather than getting 1 pick as FA compo next year
  10. Maybe, not convinced though. I think clubs look at points value of picks to balence up trades. This is where swaps of later picks comes into it. The gamble comes with future picks, because clubs are hoping they don't drop down the ladder significantly. This worked for us in our Lever future 1st rounder. Personally I think the club would want May and a 2nd rounder for pick 5. But we shall see soon enough.
  11. Wouldn't it be delicious if we traded for Kelly this year and beat Norf to their intended punch next year!
  12. Doesn't make sense. The pick number isn't critical but it is critical in a trade? If the pick number isn't critical, we should offer pick 78 for Shiel. That'll get it done, right? Of course pick 5&6 are more valuable than 10&16, regardless of whether we trade them or use the in the draft.
  13. Look at the size of his head. Snipers dream!
  14. Hopefully in this case he was front ended and his contract next year is for $2.50
  15. To be more accurate, we paid 2017 pick 10 and probably 16 this year plus late pick swaps for Lever. A bargain IMO.
  16. Happy for trade of Garlett for pick 50 as well. Pick-anything actually
  17. Agree, but would want a high 2nd rounder (i think they have 23) as well as Kelly for two high 1st rounders. Or swap of our 2nd for 23, ours likely to be about 33 or 34. Kelly +23 for Hogan? Where do I sign?
  18. Gee wiz, anyone else now glad Jason Taylor, Todd Viney and Josh Mahoney would have done their due diligence weeks ago and assessed Hogan's trade value?
  19. Many consider other mids better to target than Shiel, especially for the trade picks and contract amount he'd command. Tend to agree.
  20. It might make Gaff's decision difficult if we got to within 100k of Norf's offer. Freeing up 800k by trading Hogan could help this
