  1. He can choose the suitor, regardless of offer, but Eagles have the right to match
  2. Can you wrap that up in a riddle please Prodee?
  3. Jesse won't be pleased the hands in the back rule will be discontinued next year. He'll have little to hissy fit about. ... ducks head ?
  4. Unless Frost is traded as part of a package. It would be fair to say his stocks are on the rise at the moment, having had a good last month. Omac at FB, May at CHB, Lever intercept 3rd tall(ish) I too would like to see Hogan tried in the backline, which may disrupt the above. May is an upgrade from Frost.
  5. Don't know about that. It made me chuckle!
  6. Or... rather than troll, you could just not open it. Simples!
  7. It's the stupid brain fades that get on my goat. The punch to the guts off the ball. The attempting to punching the ball into the crowd from an on the full, very lucky not to be given 50m. I'm flabbergasted a guy with over 300 games does stupid, faux tough stuff like this, particularly in big games. I think he may get a handful of games next year, but will mostly be of use as an assistant, assuming he's not coaching 'Brain Fades 101'.
  8. 2016 shows what he's capable of: 43 contested marks from 21 games, equal 9th, and all but one above him played more games that season. That year he was a contested marking beast playing as a key position forward. Obviously last year and this year he has had injury, illness and personal reasons for missing games. Plus he's been used this season as a running high HF and mid/wing where contested marking isn't high on the player stats. IMO he should play a greater % of time as a leading key forward. Not all, just more. I've said before I'd like Jesse to stay beyond 2019, and I acknowledge he is settled in Victoria. But his value certainly can be discussed and I'm sure Jason Taylor and Todd Viney have done so. Due diligence in an era where contracts mean little and trade landscapes shift quickly. There are many allegedly shifting this year regardless of contracts, denials and free agency: Shiel, Lobb, Hanners, Neale, Polec, May, Wingard, etc, though each has their own individual circumstances. Most of those were 'settled' 6 or 12 months ago.
  9. How is Ricky 'TootToot' Nixon these days? ?
  10. The old "manager shops around to drive his price up" trick! Can't see him coming to Melbourne, what can we offer Suns?
  11. SC increased from $10.37 to $12.45mill this year. That might account for some of it. Plus the kangas have been stockpiling SC cash space since being knocked back by Dusty and Kelly. It not unrealistic for them to land all of those mentioned. Whether they are all any good or want to play for a club outside the 8 is another issue.
  12. In that case, I bet you are female
  13. Maybe Norf told Gaff a fib, once he's there he 'plays his role' as directed by the coach. I can't see Gaff not doing what Scott tells him to do. I'd say that if he goes to Norf it's because of the massive coin they have offered.
  14. So are demon supporting Toads!
  15. Would be romantic, wouldn't it? Given the circumstances, Taylor would know exactly what he is like Also, he's not a F/S selection anymore.
  16. I'm just surprised they talked to you Toady
  17. The squiggle has us in the zone. The squiggle is never wrong!
  18. "Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things."
  19. Club and player want to stay together until 2021. Just signed an extention which 99.999999999999% of people would agree means both parties are set. It's not like Hogan, who falls out of contract in 13 months. What don't you get about that? Your left nut will be divorcing you very soon.
  20. The fact that the previous sentence is fabricated bullsh!t based upon the contract extension both he and Freo willingly signed in good faith about a week ago. Logic isn't your strength mate.
  21. Only 23 and if my memory serves more correctly, was a late starter to footy at school. Not to mention the back issues he had early. Still learning and will hit his peak at 27, IMO. Big preseason and he'll be hard to get out of the 22.
  22. Interesting isn't it. The guy is a highly rated media commentator who is paid to do exactly this. What Lyon said was not unreasonable commentary. Despite the Neeld fiasco, Lyon has a very good footbal brain. I don't believe he's claiming insider intel, yet the haters can't help themselves. Some on here suggest Hogan could play in the backline and get shouted down. Roos suggests the same and they go silent. Roos has enormous respect obviously, but the message was the same.
