Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Moonshadow replied to Wiseblood's topic in Melbourne Demons
Interesting... "An advantage of moving to the southern side of the train lines and building around Gosch’s Paddock is that the land governed by the Melbourne Olympic Park Trust – which is land broadly designated for sporting use – as opposed to land designated as green space parkland in Yarra Park." -
Stay tuned, Demonland's very own NT scout @Bitter but optimistic is all over this. More details to come (after he prizes himself away from the local cocktail bar)

Was Tmac put forward at the end of the 2018 season when we were vying for pick 1, 2 or 3? Most weeks atm our backline is the only thing stopping us from getting belted beyond Mars
-
Why the [censored] would any club not tanking put their best key defended in the forward line??? Madness, I say.
-
Try not to drink too much on the flight, Uncle. We don't want to read about your unsavoury antics and arrest upon arrival. Well...er.... actually, we do!

Well, she'll be reaching for the sick bag!

Are we pitching for Meatloaf? New KP forward? Stick him in the guts, I say.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ

Melbourne Victory are pushing hard for approval of a $18mill soccer academy in Footscray Park. This is next to the VU sporting facilities. Many Western Bulldogs players use the gym and pool facilities at VU. Apparently protesters stormed the Maribyrnong council meeting which was to make a decision on it. Aren't Melbourne Victory currently training out of AAMI Park and the grass pitches next to Goschs? Here's a pic of the proposal: -
Tullamarine is aboriginal for 'expensive car park' Bon voyage Uncle.

IIRC, Jurrah didn't deal well with close checking opponents who targeted him and bumped him around. Was amazing when given space to leap or run onto the ball. His body was slender at the time, his forearms were like twigs. That might explain some of the wrist problems, not sure. Those one handed marks were freakish. His ability to foresee a passage of play and then position himself or kick to where needed was a joy to watch. I rate him as the most naturally gifted player of a wide variety of skills I've seen in the red and blue.

All of those have been reinvented and/or improved under Goodwin. That is what you posed. And yes, Gawn has risen to another level duringvthe last 3 years But I guess that doesn't suit the Goodwin-hating narrative, does it.

Frost, Fritter, Hunt, Melk, Trac, Hore (albeit only 1 season) Injuries may have stopped others.

How'd his brother go? Is he any good? How old?

Fence sitting on the fence???

Careful or you will have @Bitter but optimistic salivating over your post, Bub. You know how he likes a jolly good, er...... yum cha...
-
I dispute that you have anything new to say apart from this copy and paste outrage.

And there endeth the lesson from SWYL.... until he says the same thing in another thread in 5 mins time

As Dennis Cometti would've said: "Aaaambitious!"

What on earth are you after? For him to bag Goidwin? That would achieve nadda. Roos is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. Imo he can do as he pleases. I'm thankful for what he and PJ did (which was a frigging lot in a short period of time) Looks like you want to stick up for Lyon and sink the boots onto Roos, which would be hugely ironic, as Dazzle mentioned.

He returned to Port Adelaide from North Melb, before we topped up his super for 29 games. You are making [censored] up to suit your dominating narrative. Give it a rest and let others have a say -
2020 Assistant Coach Prospects: The Next Batch

Hell no! Malthouse is toxic. -
Jurrah did not drink before the China trip. He took a huge speccie in the last quarter there and kicked the winning goal. Then went on a bender with the players and never stopped. If you cannot see the link between alcohol and trouble in indigenous lives, I give up. Incidently, that was the trip Gawn yawned on Scully

Some Jurrah magic:

@Bitter but optimistic would frighten the bejeesus out of him. Go home factor will kick in after week 1. Who'd blame him! But your sporting career story telling would ensure he gets plenty of sleep
