Not really. The answer lies somewhere nuanced in between. Some are fit and have been all season (Gawn, Gus, Hunt, Salem) while others are the opposite (Preuss, Omac, Tmac). Some began fit but through injury are now struggling (JKH, Garlett). Others began the season lacking fitness but are now getting there there (May, Oliver, Harmes, Trac). While some haven't got on the park (AVB, J Smith, Lever minus 1 game) 'Gotcha' questions fail to acknowledge that very little in football is black and white, apart from the end score. (queue the capt obvious comments about that....) However, it's no coincidence that our better players this season generally had uninterrupted preseasons.

None of those are facts They are your opinion. Most people will agree with some of what you write, but it is just opinion.

I was very frustrated to see Hipwood kick 5 goals in just over a quarter before Goodwin made the change and put Frost on him. I would've thought 2 or 3 goals at the most.

"Phantom" draft says it all. I'll take the words from club list managers above your fan guesses any day. You want to give away 5 or 6 of our better players for 2nd or 3rd rounders (because thats what we'll get in a fire sale) and collect a bunch of pointy end draft picks which we will somehow pull out of our arrse, because we wont get them all. We'll have one.

And my point is that we don't and won't have those picks. We will have one high pick this year. Oliver was a hit from year one, was he not? As was Brayshaw.

Those 2 first rounders ended up being Lachie O'Brien and Liam Stocker. Lever > O'Brien/Stocker Some will argue otherwise, of course.
