So you're saying there's still a chance? ?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Would be interesting to see what might happen if another club invited him to train over summer. Work his legs hard, see if he can stand up to it.... literally.

I agree...if that's permitted by @Demon3

Alex Keath
Sounds like Weid 2.0!

As expected.

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
If Hawthorn offered him 2 years, or even 2 years with games played incentive for 3, would you match it? I don't think a 1 year deal would get him to us. With 3 knee recos, only the Hawks doc can fix him

I see it how it actually was. You see it as it might have been but wasn't. Which one is lazy?

3 x knee recos. Pass.

Pick 10 (O'Brien)and following year what ended up being pick 19 (Stocker) for Lever will be a steal for us in the years to come.

No thanks. No DHs beyond this point.

Eddie Betts
Eddie will be 33 at the start of next year and have at least 312 games under his belt. Great player, great career, but time's up.

Agree on this part.

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
I guess you missed the italic part in my post which said "at the moment". Gus would not get us a 1st rounder now. He's has had one good year. I do not rate the Brownlow count as a true reflection of a player's value. He was not 3rd best in the league last year. Langdon has shown consistent good form last year and this year. They play different roles, neither is a particulary good kick. Not saying I want Gus traded by any means, but i do know we need outside run more than an inside mid at the moment. There's that phrase again! Cerra and Langdon for Gus is an LSD induced dream. Where do we sign? Not going to happen.

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
What about: OUT: MFC 2019 R1 and R2 picks (3+23, assuming GCS get 1+2PP) IN: B Hill + Langdon+ Freo 2019 R1 (about 9) No doubt Freo would think that unders and try and work Gus into the equation

Jordan Lewis To Retire this Year
Wrong thread
-
The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
I read it that he thinks MFC should make a play for Hill. His opinion, rather than that we will
-
The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
I would think Brayshaw for Langdon would be a fairer trade to an objective observer. Both about high 2nd rounder in value at the moment
- If Adelaide sacked Pyke and made a long-term offer to lure Goodwin

Jordan Lewis To Retire this Year
I'd rather give up more for Hill and/or Langdon. Or is Smith a FA? Still, at 31 we should not top up his super for 1 year + maybe a 2nd year at Casey. At least Lewis gave us about 2.5 years, albeit of arguable quality

Roosy: "Deplorable" Dees have "no recognisable brand"
Fake news. Roos has acknowledged he is a Melbourne fan now who watches us closely, I saw him at the G wearing a MFC scarf last year. I also see PJ at the footy regularly with his missus both decked out in MFC merch and closely following the game. He was there vs Carlton a few weeks ago. I'll agree they needed at least 2 more years (probably 4) to really set us up. They left us in a good position, but a half baked position with a dodgey oven.

Jordan Lewis To Retire this Year
Who will be 31years old at the start of the year. Pass.

The Melbourne Problem!
Mate, you've said nothing factual to back up your hate for May, only ranting, sweeping statements and opinions. It's clear you dislike him, we get it, you don't need to continue on and on and on. The gif I posted sums up your position perfectly. C ya.

The Melbourne Problem!
Blah, blah, blah, blah....... Just saying it more times doesn't convince anyone
