  1. DRUM ROLL PLEASE.......................in the words of before the game award......................Tool of the week................absolutely no idea!!!!
  2. He has played some different roles down there, learning curve I'd say.
  3. Yes we are not good enough at this stage, but this year has been a hell of a better one compared to last year, for a club that has done a total rebuild from top to bottom things will get better as each year passes.
  4. Rhino, how many games have we given teams a start then stayed with them throughout the game? reverse tanking eh?
  5. First point Yes it's just the voice and technique as for tennis who cares, volleyball only beach volleyball is worth watching full stop and men are the only ones that can put this sport into perspective.
  6. Read this from the Age and the full article from the link below interesting reading all I say go DB. "Last year, I attended a high level football meeting with AFL officials in a Darwin pool, summoned late one night by that great football eccentric Kevin Sheedy. For those who didn't wish to get in the pool, Sheedy brought togs. Once in the water, we gathered around him like players gathered round coaches in the old days before quarter and half-time breaks became exercises in transmitting the mathematical markers of the game. "Tanking's [censored]," he declared. "I tanked in 1993 and won a premiership." In 1993, Sheedy dropped a series of Essendon players entitled to believe they had a rightful place in the team and gave their spots to untried youngsters. That is, he didn't play to win in the short term. He looked to the future and saw how he might build. That would now be described as tanking, but who can say Sheedy was wrong? I don't see how any AFL club can be told it is not entitled to adopt that policy at whatever time it chooses, particularly if it is evident they are building for the future. http://www.theage.com.au/opinion/playing-d...90717-do60.html
  7. Well they could put the rates up a little more, don't you think that would solve that problem.
  8. Things just get better and better, all we need now is a fully enclosed ground, do you think the council would come to the party?
  9. If you go by stats to back your point then you are not watching the game if you are then comparing them to Judd then you are being blinded by them, he has been poor, now whether it is through injury and if he is then he should be rested, if not dropped to Casey, some here need to 'change their minds when it comes to McLean' PS stats today are not worth reading it is what you do with the pill and he ain't done much with it.
  10. McLean in great form?, what games have you been watching, Bambi should have been dropped weeks ago.
  11. Not true longsuffering my wife always has an opinion and she always lets me know about it!!!!!
  12. Interesting reading he is sure putting his stamp on this club. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/newsart...66/default.aspx
  13. Try this, listening to it now http://www.3ser.org.au
  14. The things we don't know and [censored] about why is he playing x on the back line, forward line and playing different roles during the year well that's teaching and that is what DB is doing I am glad that the football department is staying on true to it's course and will not buckle to please some jurno's or supporters views when not if we come through the fog (on and off field) we will return to the old feared days of playing the demons.
  15. FFS, he is a kid not a twenty six year old calm down and by the way do you really think the club would say sorry kid broken leg go away and learn what you can by yourself and come back when your better......think about it heh?
  16. McLean.......the love child of a lot of posters.
  17. And take Bambi with him.........
  18. Spoke well I give you that, but I still don't think that he would make a good captain but as I have said before we all have a an opinion neither right or wrong.
  19. And people loved Bambi too but sooner or later they all pass on, I will or could accept that he is carrying an injury and if that is the case then he will become a liability as the season rolls on time to fix the problem put someone else there to try them out and get Brock fixed up. If he is not injured then there will be a problem as the season rolls on.
  20. Again I say he would not make those two sides midfields but everyone is allowed their opinion on the subject and that is fine, and will look tonight but remember just because you sound like a leader it does not make you one!!
  21. Maybe the rest of the squad should pay 10,000 to get a game so they don't get any scrutiny or discussion about them? as for leadership, Green would be a mile in front of him. And as for making the cats or hawks midfield your joking (who would he replace) the trouble with Brock, Moloney and Jones they are all one paced, crash and bang type of players we have no silk or top line thinkers in there but I guess that will change over time.
  22. Sorry but the way the dogs play, he would spend more time on the bench recovering than being on the ground.
  23. Again I ask name one player in the a top 3 or 4 sides that he would replace?
  24. Well name one player in the a top 3 or 4 sides that he would replace? absolutely none, the man is not a top midfielder in this comp.
  25. Six pages of absolute crap on an overblown incident get over it folks, no one will change their view on this matter.
