You are easily amused if those tired old Couldabeen stereotypes can still make you laugh . Copping it on Richmond Station from young feral Bummer supporters was bad enough without reading it on our own fan site.

Be very wary of these reports of alleged mega bets . The corporate bookies monitor their clients' betting patterns closely and are quick to restrict the size of your bets or even decline your business permanently if you are a consistent winner. Newspaper reports of Grand Final or Melbourne Cup favourites being "taken on" by these firms to lose millions of dollars is just free publicity from gullible journalists .

Venom at Gollum's pyjama party

That's easy if judged by finals appearances . I'm guessing it's about Tiges 2/Dees 20 .

He was a rather ordinary ruckman who seemed to amuse some supporters with his aggro antics. Hard to believe it now, but he was an ex WAFL player who in pre-draft days actually promoted himself around AFL clubs to get listed.

The Ox is the obvious choice. In '94 he played as well as anybody in the comp and was positively floating to take his marks . He killed Carlton in that fabulous come-from-behind win in the Qualifying Final. From that point, cruelled by successive knee ruptures, he was merely a top player rather than a great one.

Add a fourth : Vickery's bizarre birds' nest style with ears poking through .

Another former coach, besides Plough and Libba, in David Parkin in today's Herald Sun admits to having ".. been tempted and gone down that road too " . To think that it only took a few smart-alec jibes from Brock Mclean to set the wolves on to US !

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>

I remember my astonishment ( but not the year) when the Weagles ran out at Waverley in an early round looking like toy Action Men ! -

Interesting remark by a circumspect Gerard Healy on AW tonight concerning a recent Sports Medicine conference he attended on the Gold Coast. He stated that observations about the likely reasons behind the Dons bizarre level of soft tissue injuries in 2012 were "very interesting in light of current events". -
I have a couple of mates who ALSO couldn't "see" the dreaded dark pink 'til we played the largely all-red Suns in round 19 . END OF ARGUMENT !!
-
Other than employing orthodox late-in-the-season tactics of sides unable to make the 8 e.g. radical positional experimentation what are we actually accused of ? We have categorical PROOF that we didn't LITERALLY tank with the unedited footage of the last 5 minutes of the "Jordan McMahon" game . Tie Vlad to a chair with matchsticks between his eyelids and force him to watch our stirring but unrewarded comeback.
-
Leading the ch.7 Sport Report was the story that Bails' lawyer said that DB denies all Afl allegations of changing his coaching style mid season admitting only to playing more kids as our finals chances disappeared.

WORST post EVER !!!!!!!!!!!

You beauty.......the dreaded dark pink is no more !

No loss at all........he will be 26 in a couple of weeks which makes him older than the "sadly departed" Juice Man !

The accurate Peter Hudson had an unorthodox action that certainly worked: hesitant approach , back hunched ,head down and kicked mongrel flat punts that just took off !

Who is running for us in the Grand Final sprint?
dee-eee replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
Ah , remember the days when Geoff Ablett ALWAYS jumped the gun AND won and our very own Rhino Richards was a good thing for the drum ! -
Is it really only a couple of years since we thrashed the Swannies by 73 points ( Roos greatest ever coaching loss ) and last season had that draw at the SCG in round one ? The 2012 contrast between the sides is breathtaking . At least West Coast and Adelaide have shown that sides CAN rebound quickly .

Hope to see plenty of Demonlanders at the funeral tomorrow (thurs.) of our official Supporter of the Century, Dudley Phillips. Fittingly it will be held in the Olympic Stand- Jim Stynes Room on Level 2 at 10.30 am .enter at Gate 3 . Those of us who bought many a raffle ticket from him in the old Olympic Stand back in our very competitive days loved the interaction with the ever cheerful Dudley .

It may make visual sense , but for those of us who survived the hideous '70's , the Royal Blue "colour tv " jumper makes us shudder !

Roger is no relation but BOTH thugs !

Ok , the Brissie game at the Gabba was a shocker but our last five games at the G were quite an improvement on the first 8 rounds. v Carlton- still there at 3/4 time ; Ess- win ; Coll- after abysmal start we had runs of 3 and 4 consecutive goals to get within a couple of goals in the third quarter; GWS- win ; Rich- at least it was a scrap. These games WERE largely competitive !
-
Terry Wallace tipped us this arvo on SEN ! The "Line" is only 17.5 points . Our form over the past month has been at least competitive. Freo are on the road . Chipper on Pav ? We're a chance......be there ! ( TAKES DEEP BREATH AND NERVOUSLY CLICKS ON "POST" )

In racing parlance , Beamer ( and Magner ) need a "FRESHEN". Send them off to the Gold Coast and that water slide the Cat's boys enjoyed last week !
