  1. Excellent 13 minutes RC , nicely done . The best bit is ... Ya missed a fair bit .
  2. I noticed alot of talk about Garlands weight . Lack of weight didn't bother Dustin Fletcher much while standing the likes of Lockett , Ablett and Dunstall .
  3. I think they managed to get a few onto big name NBA players . Again not noted for their intelligence but got a few Aussie rules boy's to follow the craze all the same .
  4. Was interested to read in Barassi's book that Norm Smith went for young players purely for this reason . He didn't want their minds clouded by too much other than football .
  5. From a purely footballing perspective , his loss was massive to the club . Was destined to be the rock in defence that Daniher could never replace IMO . RIP
  6. And snapping up Essendon memberships .
  7. Saintsational thread A link to her twitter page amongst here ... Lovin' it she is .
  8. Yep , mine will be getting a run for this exact reason . Always thought our official caps should've sported horns anyway . Let your Demon out
  9. Lets face it, she's an attention seeking nutcase. But that's not PC, eh? SEX ALLEGATION AGAINST COP
  10. Yeah saw him at the Richmond game , was there to watch his nephew Troy Taylor apparently . Might've been his 1st game .
  11. Though he's stating the obvious , he's spot on IMO. Lack of steely minds especially has been our downfall for years . Melbourne The Melbourne rebuild continues according to plan, the patient Demon fans increasingly bullish about their prospects. So, clearly, is the club, which has pointedly cut the apron strings to its kids, James McDonald and Cam Bruce no longer part of the equation. Pace and skill won't hold the Demons back, lack of strength and size still may. There's still a shortage of quality tall forwards, though a fit Liam Jurrah will make a world of difference. But the roll call of talented kids, several of whom have hardly played, is long and impressive, and the significant step up by more seasoned types such as Mark Jamar, Colin Sylvia and Brent Moloney has been critical. Can legitimately eye a spot in the eight in 2011. What they want for Christmas: Stronger bodies, steelier minds, and a few more stepping up to fill the leadership void at the top.
  12. Scullys relentless enthusiasm concerns me abit , is he an OP case waiting to happen ?
  13. Me either , we obviously match up well and will soon have their number IMO . Would love to meet them in a Final . B)
  14. Reakon with some injury luck we can leapfrog Carlton and North . St.Kilda & Freo to falter slightly IMO . I liked what Shwabby had to say in our latest mag about just watching our kids develop , if we can tear some good sides apart along the way (and I don't see why not) we'll collectively go off our 'eds . Really , I just want the football world left in no doubt whatsoever that we've got it right and are going to be a serious force .
  15. Great thread . Along with Flower - Wishlist A personal favorite .
  16. Hope Guerra crunches him in a training drill .
  17. Mal Walden Jo Pearson Chris Judd doesn't count does he .
  18. I don't think he's terrified to have a shot but do wish he'd be more selfish at times . Often looks for better options when a ping at the sticks is the best option . Should come with more confidence of his place in the side .
