I wonder if people wrote the same about Krakouer when he got in trouble...? Although the difference between the 2 is that Lovett was given an innocent verdict. Yes I wan the best possible culture at our club but these "kids" on our list are actually 18 year old men. They need to make the right decisions of there own intelligence because they are being paid 6 figures to play a game some of us play for free on the weekends. With that in mind A. Lovett could be good for the MFC, his speed and goal kicking ability is something we need more of. Also with the other "brothers" at the club he may settle in better.

In terms of a trade I heard on SEN a few months ago that Adelaide were very keen on Jamar. I'm not sure of Martin as a tap ruckman at bounces, etc and Gawn needs at least another couple years to grow, so jamar is obviously vital to our centre line structure. Who else on our list (besides trenners & tappy) are from Sth Aust?

Agreed, this Dawes bloke must of kicked 50+ goals at least once before...? He has a gun midfield feeding him and gets the 2nd best defender... Give me Fev anyday.

I wanted a tried and true senior AFL coach, ideally someone who had coached a premiership (Choco, MM, Paul Roos, Lethal)... However in saying that I was impressed with how he spoke in the press confrence, and also very impressed when Malthouse said he would not put up with players that didnt play his way. We have a few "hard" players - Beamer, Chipper, Tappy, Jones... But they are not near a J. Brown or J. Selwood which is what we need. I hope he can make some of the guys accountable, especially the senior guys that went missing in so many games this year. Fingers crossed and time will tell...

I’ve got my fingers crossed and will give him as much support as i gave Bailey & Daniher... My concern is he is untried, and while everyone is saying he has had a good education, so did Bailey... One thing I did like is apparently one of his strengths is identifying a players good & bad points and working on them, we need as much of that as possible.

In some way I agree, but seriously Davey is not a "hard" player. Im not happy when he shirks a challenge, but im pretty sure he would of een told to hold his feet and use his pace to beat the opposition player. Last week when he went up half hearted for a mark on the ST Kilda 50m would be in his mind. Could his knee of prevented him going up 100% maye, but the fact is no one will ever know. Either way I dont think we will see Davey go up like again.

Anybody at all think that this injury may have been holding him back?? Davey is a forward that has been turned into a mid fielder due to his disposal, he will never get used to tags, in reality we should have 2 or 3 blokes that get tagged ahead of davey but he hurts the opposition the most... Lay off Flash, he has done enough for this club to deserve a bit of bad form.

If Jack gets off do they still have to explain there comments?

I think we have enough runners in the team to cover that situation. Newton could also go forward to cover pettard, etc.

Clarkson did put together a game plan that worked for a year, but then again if cam mooney had kicked straight who knows what we would be saying... As for a new coach, im hearing roo's, Malthouse.... I want Leigh Matthews. Who could possibly be better suited to develop our list further? Leigh is a genius, a winner as a player and both times as a coach. give him the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and pull him out of the media i say...

Watts - He could be anything and get a buzz when he shows why he was drafted Tingay - I had never heard of Flower when i got 2 on my back in junior footy

I want to keep morton, i think he has great skills and can play wing / HFF.I think he is getting used to the extra weight he has put on, yes he looks skinny still but is 192cm, so just as tall as Rivers and 5kg lighter. BP has copped some heat from some people, but why would you take Darling when he may want to go home to WA one day and was in a bit of strife before being drafted? He is of the Tapscott breed in that he had a mans body when drafted. Watts will come on- Think Frawley who debuted in 2007 and only came on last year (same as Jacky at Rich). BP has made some great calls - McKenzie, Gyz, Tappy, Bail & Jurrah... Everyone has expected too much from the kids we have, fair enough if this was 2013/2014.

Martin has been good without being brilliant. Hopefully Newton gets a run, he might provide another target up forward. With Bate in i hope to see Watts played deeper, he took some good marks last week. Not sure why Bennell got the boot, but good to see Pettard back in. Would be good if Davey played off a HBF, with him and tapscott there we would be able to get the ball past the centre / HF.

Reading this from Vegas and was always concerned about Green being captain... Watts was good on telly when he was drafted, and I think he took the rocket he was no doubt given and performed well against the eagles. We have to face facts - We are stuck with Green as captain until he hangs up the boots.

I think you are all about 2 years early with all this doom. Yes we have been sh!t, but its the game plan and the way our leaders are playing. No tactics to bring davey into the ggame of HB, no usage of tapscott off HB, none of the forwards are making the space needed for us to mark i50. Watts looks good tonight because they are actually kicking it to him. That kids leads all day. Sack Bailey now... I'm not sure, but he does deserve to be put on notice. Decisions on Junior must be judged now, who ever made the call should be held accountable. We have an amazing list, we just need someone to guide it. Malthouse, Roos, maybe even Eade or ideally in my mind Leigh Matthews.

Simple... If we start 0 - 4 or 0 - 5 we sack bailey... He has had enough time, and winning quarters doesnt matter when the quarters we loose we loose by 4 goals...
