  1. It was unjust but not because it crossed the goal line, which it didn't. It was unjust because the moronic goal umpire crossed the goal line and interfered with the ball. Surely there is no way that the goal umpire should ever need to cross the line during play - no need whatsoever. Poor coaching. Maybe some of those who are calling for Neeld's blood could call for Geishen's instead?
  2. And Ollie is playing in a side that is undefeated; Jimmy was playing in a team playing the worst footy ever. Port's success is just so obviously due to Ollie, and our disastrous start just as clearly due to Jimmy ??? And I guess that had we picked Ollie we would be undefeated and had Port picked Jimmy they would be winless ???
  3. A match saving grab in the dying seconds - well done
  4. Do they all need to go to Brisbane - not ideal, but take maybe one up with the team Saturday, and put the other two on an early flight Sunday? It would provide some degree of security.
  5. Lets hope so Magnificent stuff He has had 4+ years - how much does he need???? Shows very little interest in the game at the moment
  6. IF we got a [censored], like Milne, who could play like Milne, and score goals like Milne, I may be prepared to forgive the [censored] part. ...don't forget Evans
  7. Seriously, and possibly very important (remember Ricky Petterd and his collapsed lung): do we have a club doctor????
  8. ...but he was there!!! A "presence".
  9. It is what our Pry Minister calls hyperbole. hyperbole |hīˈpərbəlē| nounexaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally.
  10. Something seemed to change on Sunday - hopefully it is a lasting one.
  11. There is no way that this guy will do anything half hearted -he WILL be ruthless.
  12. and other than body shape, how about footy attributes? Hoping......again. We hear that so often - Sylvia, Watts, Tilbrook, Brommell, Grgic, Gysberts, Morton. etc etc - that I for one have become very sceptical when I hear it.Hope you are right, though.
  13. I trust that was tongue in cheek ;-)))
  14. Sitting here in Melbourne I am told by this pathetic AFL site that I don't have international access!!!!! Whilst I am griping, it is the same site that never bothers to give a mike to the questioner at post game pressers....always a very one sided listen. EDIT: Just managed to get it from the second link, then when I went back to replay it I got the international BS once again. If anyone could put it on youtube I would be very grateful.
  15. Magnificent .... truly magnificent. Loved the bits about the drip feeding from AFL to Caro. How obvious. Has Vlad responded?
  16. Mainly because a subluxation ain't a dislocation. It is just a little bit of a one.
  17. Fabulous heartfelt article, though I am sure some here will call it spin. And RobbieF you have raised one of my hobby horses - it is largely in the head
  18. Schultz had his hands on the defender's shoulders - should have been a free. Great leap by our Jeremy.
  19. Colin - I hope that you are reading this - we desperately need you to do this consistently. How about having a chat with RDB???
  20. Ben - we keep hearing that some players "don't warm to Neeld", but do we really know that? Please name names. Do you think all Collingwood players "warmed to Malthouse" or all the Cats "warmed to Thompson"?? Coaches aren't there to be nice guys or best mates, they are there to get results. Parkin, Pagan??? Dawes injection - probably an unfortunate turn of phrase in the current environment ;-)
  21. Chappy = consistent contributor; Col = the odd flash in the pan. They are NOT the same...pity. Couldn't agree more. Anyone who doesn't put in 100% should head off to Cranbourne East.
  22. Googled calf blood WADA and found this in the result: Actovegin The drug Actovegin was initially licensed for intravenous use to improve cellular oxygen transport to tissues in patients with arterial disease. As a gel or cream it is also used to treat slow-healing skin lesions such as burns or skin-grafted wounds. In recent years it has gained notoriety for its use by elite cyclists as a performance-enhancing drug, with the consequence that the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has banned its use in competition. Actovegin is a protein-free derivative of calf’s blood, rich in electrolytes, trace elements and various organic components. It improves tissue uptake and use of glucose and oxygen; hence it can be used to improve the oxygenation and energy supply to muscles after injury. Patients receiving Actovegin injections for muscle injury resumed full sporting activity in a clinically significant reduced timescale when compared with placebo(5). Actovegin may thus be used to accelerate the healing of muscle injuries acquired through trauma or overuse.
  23. Try this link http://www.peptidelabs.com/aod9604.html (They say) increases muscle mass so I am not surprised that it is a WADA no-no.
