Agree Some are saying that Hunt is a dud (a super offensive term IMO to say of anyone who has been on an AFL list, even those who prove not to be up to it, but that is another issue), but this is actually the first time he has had a real opportunity to show his wares. He seems to have done what is asked of him. Whether he will continue to impress and progress is still an unknown, but credit where it is due. Harmes seems to do what is asked of him too, and must be seriously pressing with Matt Jones and Bail not progressing as they would have hoped. 12 tackles is great for a rookie, or for anyone for that matter. IMO they (44 & 45) are the ones who are fighting for their future, which IMO looks pretty bleak. But, unlike the armchair critics they have made it onto an AFL list, and have tried they best, for which we should be thankful. Agree - working and learning under senior people of varying capabilities and characteristics can teach one a hell of a lot, especially if one's eyes and mind are open: sometimes one can learn just what NOT to do, as much as learning positives.When I first saw the thread title I said to myself, hasn't the WADA saga been done to death: we all presume that this now professional club did full due diligence on his exposure to fallout from EFC and WADA.

Clubs regularly sack coaches mid contract. And maybe EFC lost their copy of their current coach's contract - after all they don't seem to have s very good filing system.

I missed the Collingwood game but It was suggested somewhere that he took a big physical hit (as well as a psychological one, when Choke for about thenfirstbtime in his career kicked straight)? Also another observed that his slump has coincided with the loss of Salem....they certainly did some great stuff together in those early rounds. Some also mentioned "off field issues"........is the pure speculation or does someone really know something?? IF they do, they should share it with the club (NOT us) and help him through it privately. I know he looked as if he really hurt deeply when we had those floggings from the top teams....maybe he is struggling to get over that, which would be a huge worry if true. My thought is that he is a young tall who hit some great form early, has had a slump and needs our support whilst he regains his confidence. What he doesn't need is constant carping from "supporters".

Georgiou R.R. Martin King??? Speculative, for 2017 or 2018 at best I would have thought. One good (or at least high scoring without being named in the better players, interpret that how you will) game at VFL, hardly seen since. Sure let us all hope he will be the greatest FF since Dunstall or Lockett, but best line up for 2016????? I certainly hope he will, but absolutely no evidence as yet.

I would definitely put [Pedersen] in ahead of Dawes as he can and will ruck, and could go tall defender if one went down during a game ie far more versatile Would also try to fit Salem in on HBF with maybe HL to a wing, Dom or JW HFF and Garlett moving to FP in place of Howe - you did I think say, or infer, on the form we have seen this year. With Howe right out, maybe ANB to take Salem's spot on your bench. But, without our extensive injury list to important players we would look a lot better

Any updates at all regarding Brayshaw? If he was subbed as a precaution and does not have concussion or a neck injury then he must play.
