Vlad and Gil have set the game back years, if not decades, by their absolute favoritism of the 'big clubs' and their special franchises to the detriment of the majority of clubs and their supporters. I hope it bites them both in the bum, very painfully.

I presume no body building drugs in sumo? Are they WADA enrolled, or, like some seem to want AFL to do, do they prefer for obvious reasons to stand outside? Nothing illegal, just stupid, but then......they are AFL footballers, and we know that many take absolutely no notice of repeated exhortations about sensible and legitimate activities. Plenty of evidence for the latter in the past week. Never send an email or text (or twit or face or book wahtever etc etc) that you don't want the world to see; politicians never seem to learn either. If you want to say something and keep it private, whisper it in a noisy environment, otherwise it will become public knowledge, and all the more if a "public figure" (cannot stand the term "celebrity" which only serves to boost already overinflated egos).

Surely I have misread this - I thought it implied that EFC and AFL were seeking costs against one of their (former) employees who is seeking medically sensitive information related to "treatment" administered to him by his employer, "treatment" that he is concerned may be detrimental to his health (amongst other things). Surely I am misreading this??!! Is it headed to a courtroom? Before a person who carries the honorific "Justice"? Justice would dictate that the (correct me if needed, I am not a lawyer) plaintiff gets the records, should they not suddenly disappear on the eve of the hearing, with costs in his favour, and hopefully a hefty load of putative damages against the scum who even considered this malicious action against this concerned young man. My contempt for the EFC and AFL has reached new heights / depths. This is a disgusting bully boy tactic. Totally inhuman. Beyond contempt. Evil. Beautifully stated. Totally immoral, or amoral, and corrupt. I must say I am rapidly losing interest in all things AFL, which would be particularly sad should our beloved Demons actually progress as hoped this year. I WILL NOT attend round 2, given that it is an EFC home game, as all our games against them seem to be these days. Is that "luck of the draw"? More likely yet another sweetheart deal between the corrupt AFL and the more corrupt EFC. OMG I am feeling so depressed re footy despite all the prospects of a good year for our team. If Gil and the entire Commission were to resign or be sacked, there may be a glimmer of hope, but the game is rapidly going down the gurgler.

OMG he just cannot see it. Everybody else is to blame and absolutely nothing to do with him, the one who said early on as I recall, that he would take full responsibility. Pathologically deluded.

As an anti tanking measure I wonder if the AFL could be interested in running extra games during the finals series for all teams that miss the top 8. A round robin type competition between all the non finalists with the draft picks being awarded to the better performed teams in this 'consolation final' comp, maybe over the first two weeks and a 'consolation GF' on PF weekend, of course not clashing time wise with the real PFs. That may be seen as being unfair on the really bad performers - not that fairness has ever been any consideration at AFL - so to simplify this mini comp 9-14 could play off for picks 5-10, and 15-18 for picks 1-4 again with the winners being the winners. 6 and 4 team round robins are certainly easier to organize than 10. PS: Gil, there could be quite a few bucks in it!

We look as if we have improved the list, but this will tell if we have gained any mental toughness which has been sorely lacking for most of the last half century 2017 and beyond - will all the "deceived victims" want to stat at the poisoned club? All the others were allowed and in fact used full club facilities, support teams etc I suspect the answers to all are no, and the last at least with any teams that are affiliated with any ASADA / WADA affiliated competitions. Hopefully not even backyard basketball with Christian Petracca :-)

What a horribly conflicted body this is. Those who call it a trade union miss a salient point. What trade union is fully funded by the employer therefore 100 % dependent upon them for their funding? How can they seriously represent their players in such a situation. An excercise in tokenism and spin. Land how can they claim to represent the interests of over 15/16 of their members by basically supporting proven cheating by a minority?
