    Thoroughly agree, Steve......many put all the emphasis on top 10 in a team, which is of course very important.....but successful teams have at least 'good' 18-26. That IMO is where that Saints just missed out in that period around 2010. Their 18-26 was not up to that of their more successful opponents. Their top 8-10 was about as good as the others'.

    rjay - I think that you are seeing more than there is here. I see it as him being a modest country kid who has risen far faster than he could ever imagine, and doesn't want to get, or give, excessively high expectations too early. He has certainly changed in appearance from the pre draft photos. Leaner and more athletic.

    I am no biomechanics expert, but doesn't the non-kicking foot also get subjected to significant stresses when the ball is kicked? Perhaps less sudden impact, but certainly takes stress and torsion when bearing the full weight.

    Thanks got the report WJ Fantastic observations Maybe they didn't turn up because of our dearth of night matches. I bet Collingwood were next door training the house down Best LOL was the Victory fans and their spare flares. I am surprised that they hadn't used them all.

    I understood that it was to be heard en francaise. Part of EFC's long term contingency plan was to send St James, and of course his lovely high flying lawyer spouse, to Paris so that they could learn French, so that in the highly unlikely (in their distorted view of life) event they were found guilty they would be in a really strong position to fully stand up for the rights of his badly victimized boys. What lovely dedicated people, who we have so badly misjudged.
