  1. Many thanks Mr Fence. No serpents today? I heard a rumor that Angus had some sort of scare in a semi competitive drill earlier in the week. Was he doing non contact stuff at all? From your comments, it seems that there could be quite a few selection table late nights at either end of the ground, and quite a few disappointed players running around at Casey. A nice problem to have mind you.
  2. And yet we “only” lost by 7 points. The entire team was flat, and in fact scared that their friend and teammate initially might have been dead, and then may have remained comatose, for the remainder of the first quarter. Absolutely and understandably shell shocked. They actually did well to out score what was mooted in the media as the greatest team of the year with 6 goals 11 points to 5.4 for the rest of the match. Even if Angus was not going to have another of his big finals games, he would have inevitably contributed towards at least a couple more goals than did his replacement, and the flat first quarter may have been even a little less flat. But, inevitably, the AFL have yet again squibbed at making a genuine statement, which they will feign as soon as a “lesser player from a lesser club” actually does make accidental contact with an opponent’s head.
  3. Goffy - yes I believe it was deliberate / intentional but at very least it was reckless / careless which would also have put that piece of 💩out for the finals. But , true to form, the AFL weaseled their way out to appease Collingwood.
  4. But Mr Fence, just think, no infested with serpents 🐍 Maybe just one wishful fantasy - relocate RFC to become the Tassie Tigers 🐅 and then Punt Road will be free 😀
  5. RDN - that sounds rather like a haggis 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
  6. Looking forward to listening tomorrow - was busy tonight.
  7. Great work again guys - so much appreciated. How do you feel that our incoming players NB McAdam, Fullerton and maybe Billlings and Tholstrup will impact our forward transition and connection? It has appeared to have been our biggest weakness 2022 & 2023.
  8. Like so many before him (Sylvia, Watts, Morton etc) just one good preseason away from superstardom
  9. I guess there can be career averages and recent form. Ant And then there is disposal efficiency which you don’t quote. Frittata and Melksham don’t count then? And positions don’t matter eg if it was, say, from our top 15, heaven forbid Rivers and Langdon, it would be far less impactful than Petty, Melksham, Frittata (Brown even) all at once. There was no key forward structure left.
  10. “WouldGrundy have done better than a non-utiliesdSchache? Almost definitely.” Absolutely 100% without any shadow of doubt could not have done less - and not blaming Schache at all for that.
  11. Drones anyone?? Sorry, but Josh is still nailed to the bench, never to be released.
  12. Quick …. knee jerk reaction coming from the global leading experts in knee jerk reactions, AFL HQ ….. Weagles need immediate compensation with their choice of any player drafted by another club who originates from ….. Esperance. 😡🙄😮
  13. bluey - you know this for a fact, or speculation, or rumour?
  14. Back - meaning in defence, back on the bench unused, back at Casey?. Only one player in any team (and happens to be Collingwood) to whom I would wish any serious injury and I guess we all know which piece of scum that is.
  15. How exciting would that be?? Looking forward to the season.
  16. JJJ - I hope you mean by 'a lump of clay' that he is ripe for molding, rather than being an inert blob which is how some could misinterpret it 🙄
  17. Hope that is a typo and we aren't getting another arrogant <person who tosses> Mason Cox 🇺🇸 😎 My post wasn't meant to be negative in any way - purely a question as I don't remember a lot of detail about season 2019 Must have been away working a bit
  18. IMVHO Woey would have been a far better sub than Laurie when Angus was assaulted so early in the game. He is already ahead.
  19. Mr Neitz says “hi”!
  20. 1964 Melbourne Premiership player, Don Williams? I guess, she either is, or is not.
  21. If we miss the final 8 next year then....... the pessimists will feel vindicated I, however, will choose to remain optimistic.
  22. But BT would really miss his “wow, Richo, another Hunter special, underground handpass, JB”. PS : BT, all of Hunter’s low handpasses remain above the ground.
  23. So did Hames’ most memorable ever kick, across the corridor I guess, breach team rules? 🤗
  24. Q3 seems easily answered. Do they really want or need good umpires or do they only want compliant ones? 🙄
  25. So we lose access to Mac Andrew (if we really ranked him) as a knee jerk reaction to JUH, and now there is a partial reversal by the world experts at making big decisions on the run, aka AFL. Sounds about the way they run things.
