AFLX 3.0
Not that I give a toss, but probably a good idea. However ..... that will only give Shocking / Gillon an opportunity to dream up some other monstrosity. I am sure they have it in them to make something far worse.

My 3 word player analysis V West Coast
Are you suggesting EssUndone may be his final destination club??

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KYSAIAH KROPINYERI PICKETT
poita - haven't had an opportunity to see Bedford and Chandler. Is it too early to tell if they have the skills or the pace? Having been a bit of a fan of Spargo last year, he either has a bad case of second year blues, or sadly, I tend to agree with you. Also have been a fan of JKH but his papers look to have been stamped if he can't squeeze into this line up despite good reports from Casey

Dermie: Melbourne are downhill skiers
I still hold high hopes for Weed as, for now, second KPP forward, though in the remainder of this dead season would a stint at CHB help his development? Hannan is better than he has shown this year. Injury has hit him hard and he is starting way behind the line. Lockart ... too soon to be sure. Spargo .... not enough pace for a midget Garlett .... retire while we still have some good memories, please

Dermie: Melbourne are downhill skiers
As we are now so close to the bottom, does that mean we won't even have the joy of skiing soon? Cross country skiing maybe? When did we last bully anyone - OK, Hawks and Cats last finals, but then .... ??? I agree, but he is right on this one. Of course, and remind me of how they got dragged through the media and were sanctioned by the AFL, like we were? They, and the prototypical tankers from up Sydney Road, between Parkville and Brunswick??

Insane record from 1955 to 1960
Jim Cardwell, secretary (ceo) - and recruiting officer as I recall. Got some decent return from the Goulburn Valley and I thought our suburban zone included Edithvale-Aspendale (Federal League) that yielded Stan Alves and perhaps others. I am fortunate enough to have been there. Never expected to lose, and never two in a row. Ahhhh . true glory days.

In fairness there is quite a lot of difference in their build! Certainly looks to have that burst of speed that is essential for a midget

Pruess...VFL is his spot
Did anyone really expect that he would be an overnight fix? Can do a decent job when needed to ruck. Needs more time at Casey, when not needed to fill a role at MFC, especially to learn his forward work. So I see him as both insurance against Max being inured, but also a 'project player' in the forward line not as a KPP but as a tall forward / ruck when a combo is needed.

Round 18 Non MFC Games
I though Tex showed all of his true leadership qualities, as he did in that GF a few years back.

2 wins, 14 losses
T Macâs dramatic unexplained and unexpected drop in form has been a huge factor in our fall from grace. (I do accept and realize that one man does not make a team but his absence has been enormous). Hopefully, whatever it was, has passed and the presumably unrelated meniscal tear will recover quickly and he can get a full and uninterrupted pre season and a full and productive 2020.

GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs West Coast Eagles
20 degrees, 28% humidity. It is a myth that Alice is hot, or humid, in winter.

Round 18 Non MFC Games
Adelaide - a choke of Normanic proportions. Maybe Pikers as well as chokers?

Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti
Wonât move on now, and his price would have gone up massively in the past fortnight. A genuine game turner.

Round 18 Non MFC Games
But looks like they got an extra dose of âgood stuffâ.

Round 18 Non MFC Games
Always happy to see EssUndon undone, but OMG that "protected zone" rule is just a travesty. Yet another triumph from Shocking and Dill.

Round 18 Non MFC Games
I just turned it on - I agree, what rubbish, though I suppose there will be some $$$$ in it for the AFL so that is the most important thing, isn't it? Too bad it looks more confusing to us ordinary spectators hat the Druggies' normal jumper.

We have the worst I50 to goal ratio ever recorded...
Shoot and miss is far more costly under the new kick in rules - an opposition behind now at least for well structured teams a springboard opportunity. I guess there are stats for coast to coast goals - I suspect that these will be higher this year This may account at least in part to the âscared to have a shotâ thoughts shared by others

The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
And of course we actually knew that VDB's injury wouldn't recover and that the injury prone Kent would get a run of games. I know whom I would prefer if both were fit. It must be nice having a crystal ball, though one wouldn't want to sit down too hard, or play in a scrum.

The old straight arm block - The Gawn rule.
It would be âinterestingâ to scrutinize the Sportsbet accounts of everyone associated with the running of the game. However I guess there would be far too many aliases and mates accounts to do this thoroughly.

Injury List - Season 2019
Hopefully Tomâs enforced time off will help him recover from whatever else (?foot) has been holding him back all year. We really need his 2018 (and the seven quarters prior to this knee injury) contributions. Has anyone seen KK around the club? Is it the same concussion he received in the early rounds that is still keeping him out TBC? If so, unless he is being managed even more conservatively than Nev and Angus, his future looks extremely bleak.

Footscray v Casey Demons - Round 15
dazzle - Elegt, as far as I can find, has never had a positive word about anyone on our list. MEMO to Elegt - if you can find some positives please show me. So once the warmer weather arrives there will be lots of blowflies? Thanks for that summation Demonland, and to the other posters who help keep us up to date on the VFL side with constructive comments.. How was Bradkte's ruck work? Where did Lefau play?

The old straight arm block - The Gawn rule.
(f) is a very appropriate designation for this rule - canât the blind maggots see that this rule is broken for nearly every boundary throw in? No doubt they will keep this one up their sleeves for a crucial moment when Sportsbet (or some of their competitors) demand it. And they will be able to make a decision as to who âmakes contactâ with whom when both make contact. After all if one makes contact the opponent makes contact too - contact demands at least two bodies to meet. A poorly conceived and poorly worded rule - if it is needed at all it would have to specify initiates contact but still it is a total farce. B
