I don’t really know, but is there any way to inculcate a killer instinct in a group? Does it come naturally to some? is it on field leadership? Is it off field leadership? Is it hardship? Any shrinks or psychiatrists here??

All year actually. Yes, it is .... a fake club propped up for too long by the AFL. And I ain't complaining about not giving us the opportunity to play finals . we do not deserve it after our two games in Cairns, so it is now in the hands of Freo (assuming that we don't crumble of course v Druggies).

Horrible, meaningless Americanism. A conference is where (usually professional) people gather, and listen to so called experts rave on and on about how good they are. IF it must occur, how about sections or divisions?

Charlie seems to have above average "footy IQ" (which in itself doesn't make him a nuclear physicist) and always is looking to do the team thing, and appears to never give up (unlike some teammates). He can only improve with another year under his belt.

Maybe ANB should try a gentle tap to the back of someone's head - LIFE ban. Pathetic excuse for an impartial judicial system ... just pathetic, as has been the trajectory of many thinks AFL.

The Oliver incident was a disgraceful act of thuggery that would have done Jack Dyer or Ted Whitten proud, but which except it seems in the case of GW$ player Mumford would nowadays be severely sanctioned. Just one more sad case of the total and shameless corruption on the MRP and the AFL in general.

I must have missed something - what is the nature of Angus' foot tendon injury? Was it an in game impact or some chronic strain? Also any inside info on how Jackson has been training and / or scratch matches?

No ... but absolutely no doubt if Goody tried it next week, and if we had a big win, the AFL would find some way to take away our points on some retroactive rule alteration or introduction. It certainly made us far more unpredictable - I wonder if the midfield and half forwards are given some "secret signal" that he is about to do it? Agree 100% - common sense needs to be brought in. Did the "violation" have any effect on the play?

Particularly in the first half his second and third efforts were pivotal tonight. With another preseason and more strength he could be a star. Certainly reads the fall of the ball well, and you cannot teach that.

Melksham pretty ordinary but the secrets he has to have on Goody will keep him in. How many turnovers or missed targets? Weid must be on thin ice though who could replace him? Must be due for a big one.
