The old straight arm block - The Gawn rule.
So it is not just OK, but 'magical', for Mr Chopsticks to fend off an opponent but Max defending his territory is not. Thanks AFL.

The old straight arm block - The Gawn rule.
Was that the free against Max in the last quarter too just as we were getting close? (Didnāt see much of the game until last 10 minutes)

The Misson effect
I wonder if he has ever even just said hello to Darcy Moore? Would surely be the only possible explanation for his recurring hamstring injuries. These surely cannot happen without elite help. ?

Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti
I am sure we could beat those traits out of him ???

Round 17 Non MFC Games
Maggots keeping Magpies in it. A very rare occurrence over there. The AFL will be thrilled with the closeness of it. I wonder if Stevo had a few (through his mate of course) on a close result.

Would help but their personnel are pretty awesome.

Round 17 Non MFC Games
Poor Collingwood - one man down most of the game - imagine the pain of it ? Commentators obviously unaware of our situation last week And Moore a recurrent recurrent hamstring - and without being able to blame Misson. Surely were he one of ours many here would be calling for Missonās head.

Round 17 Non MFC Games
OMG where did they find Cameron from? Amazing talent. And Flyin Ryan ... excitement machine. PS Colonwood getting far more 50/50 frees than I have ever seen for a visiting team in Perth. Instructions from betting agencies?

Round 17 Non MFC Games
I usually prefer to listen at ABC Grandstand and watch 7 to avoid putting up with the inane crap but Malthouse is on āspecial commentsā tonight. OMG he is just so full of himself - I cannot put up with him. Never heard anything like it.

CHANGES: Rd 17 vs Western Bulldogs
BBP - that was with Tom there too ... now I would see it as a no brainer (which doesn't necessarily mean it will happen though).

Goddard: Trade Clarry
Surely one shouldnāt let facts interfere with a good panic. ?

Not this one ?

Goddard: Trade Clarry
OMG. Why not just close the club down, or sell off Ollie, Brayshaw, Gawn and anyone else who could help us get somewhere? I am 100% certain that GC$ would love to have Clarrie.

Training - Tuesday 9 July, 2019
Not all concussions are alike. I would feel that repeat concussions demand more time out than first concussions, though of course some first concussions can be long lasting.

On SEN Today the following question was raised
Are you alluding to a certain #16 in the late 1950s early 1960s? Big Bob (as opposed to Tassie Bob #8) Johnson perfected this rƓle.

On SEN Today the following question was raised
IF Tommy was available then yes, probably not both but surely the serendipity of Tom's injury is that we more or less have to play them both.

Injury List - Season 2019
Meniscal tear should nowadays ordinarily be a few Meeks to a month but MFCSS means it could be anything. Regardless he should be handled with kid gloves and why should any slight risk be taken in this total disaster of a season? The time off should enable him to fully recover from whatever held him back until the past few weeks. And I agree some goal kicking set shot routines should be part of his later rehab. Should give Preuss an opportunity to work with Max as an alternating forward. Or maybe as some have suggested try Oscar as a forward?
