Round 15 Non MFC Games
Gil is seriously out of his depth and needs to move on now. His reputation will be as seriously tarnished as the game of Australian rules footy and his "brand" AFL. Maybe our "high performance manager" could turn his hand to teaching this trick: hasn't done too well at the core business. It would be interesting to monitor communications between the betting agencies and the MRO's office.

Round 15 Non MFC Games
Is the answer to your question necessarily binary?

Round 15 Non MFC Games
And not even reviewed! It would be interesting to analyse the betting odds throughout the game and check on a few persons of interest's accounts. OMG I first read the word as drugged

Round 15 Non MFC Games
How ironic is it that Worsfold's Essendrug team play in front of CHEMIST WAREHOUSE flashing billboards?
-
Round 15 Non MFC Games
Frees now 28 / 14 and I reckon about 5+ goals from frees right in front. (Haven't watched the whole game).

Round 15 Non MFC Games
OMG that bald fleg is close to BOG for ESS.
-
Round 15 Non MFC Games
Appalling lack of understanding by the maggot of the advantage rule just gifted a goal to Druggies.

Round 15 Non MFC Games
Have only looked at a few minutes early and now 3rd quarter. Maggots "being very helpful" to Druggists. A couple of soft holding the man to ESS and Hurley clearly incorrect disposals not paid. Frees 15 to 9 at present.

Alan Richardson
So, who will play first - Kent or AVB?

The Mystery of Aaron Vandenberg
Oscar McD is still there for those so inclined to put down ?

The Mystery of Aaron Vandenberg
The first quarter of the first quarter of the first match of 2019 looked OK. Mostly downhill from there.

Oscar McDonald
Hopefully Fritsch will be able to play more his natural roles as wing or forward. Salem to me looks like the skilled leader / distributor HBF we desperately need.

The Mystery of Aaron Vandenberg
Kent wanted more midfield time but didn’t get it, much like Howe said he wanted forward time at Colonwood and didn’t. And agree 100% that VDB when fit offers a huge boost well in excess of his purely statistical footy output. A bit of X factor.

And I guess one must ask, how much of the sieve-like leakage is due to the one on one defenders, the lock down defenders and the linking defenders vs the lack of pressure and vision from up field, mids and half forwards? Similar considerations re the poor inside 50 retention and conversion. Poorly considered and poorly executed delivery would make life difficult for Carey, Lloyd, Dunstall. There have been times when the best defence in the world would leak form mere pressure of numbers. So hanging it all on the likes of Oscar shows a bit of lack of perspective. It is all part of a jigsaw puzzle.

And I would love to see them tell him to his face that he is a dud or a spud ?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - KADE KOLODJASHNIJ
Brayshaw and Nev’s concussions were handled very cautiously and that has worked out well.

Michael Walters Acting
And if we boo him next time we will be branded “racist”, mark my words.
-
Michael Walters Acting
Tribunal has shown their usual form when it comes to Downlow possibles - the maggot was apparently lying as was Christian. The betting market AFL nexus strikes again.
-
Oscar McDonald
Some, and I am not saying it is you, just drop the dismissive terms ‘spud’, ‘dud’ and other non constructive derogatory term for Oscar and others.
-
Oscar McDonald
Do you know that he was drafted because he was Tom's bro? Were you told that by someone in our recruiting department? Or perhaps at the time he appeared to be the next best pick? Never let the facts spoil a good put down Nev. IMO kudos on the club for trying something completely different. Actually I think he has shown great mental strength surviving all the excrement that some here seem to enjoy piling upon him (if he reads it, or hears about it).

Michael Walters Acting
Do you mean in terms of acting ability, or more genuine? Should but not necessarily would is the answer to your question.

CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
I agree with your interpretation of our scoring issues - NOT primarily a lack of fire power, but of delivery, AND a quick crumber who applies pressure and can kick reliably probably more of a need than another tall, especially as has been pointed out with Tom maybe finding form and confidence, plus Smith and Weed. That said of course were Tony Lockett #2 to suddenly appear I would grab him in the blink of an eye. And #31 Fritsch is IMVHO a far better forward than a defender. Offers more than Hannan at the moment though long term maybe somehow fit them both in of run #31 as an outside wingman. see above I haven't seen Petty in real time at the ground (or did he play QB - if he did I didn't notice him) - is he quick enough and smart enough to play a wing?

CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Brisbane
That does not necessarily equate to looking for a tall forward - could equally be looking for a smart Eddie Betts / Charlie Cameron type crumber.
