  1. ??? rubbish game??? Cameron, who I saw as his opponent, had a pretty average game by his standards. So, how did you come to that conclusion ?
  2. and will regret missing a couple of sitters too.
  3. That free to Elliot (behind scored) for "dragging it in" was carp. Tiger did start to drag it in but never controlled it, and the Magpie tackler nearly pulled the defender's head off. Surely HTB must first mandate a legal tackle. High contact / tackle must surely always take precedence?
  4. Tigers came out with a refreshed attitude and kicked straight. Looked a contest for a while but now Colonwood are kicking goals and (8.25 to go Q3) look like they have settled.
  5. ... and quite a few great golf courses. probably because there is no clash?
  6. Seth Effrican I believe
  7. Whilst, as yet, totally unproven, JVR and Jefferson are being developed as eventual KPFs. Yes, a developed KPF would be just great, few are available for trade.
  8. I had a look at his “Casey highlights” from the weekend. He certainly looks a natural footballer - if he can gain full AFL fitness and strength in the next preseason, together with footy development at Casey this year he just looks like he could be a genuine steal. A very exciting prospect though I acknowledge that rookie drafts are generally quite speculative and that highlights are just that, highlights. Will follow with great interest. Any further thoughts from Casey watchers?
  9. Two other thinkers on the future: "The future is an unknown, but a somewhat predictable unknown. To look to the future we must first look back upon the past. That is where the seeds of the future were planted. I never think of the future. It comes soon enough." Albert Einstein or "The future ain't what it used to be" Yogi Berra
  10. Even when I do try the signal is so cr@p that I usually turn it off again.
  11. Thanks. Amd now his manner of moving, setting up, interacting, disposal.
  12. Umpires trying to pull a late win in Perth. Did the odds just blow out? Sportsbet due for an audit. Come on Norf - don't let it slip now. You must score a goal to win - cant hold on Free kick Freo. OMG. This was going to be a boring night of footy.
  13. Clarkson seems to be enjoying this from the boundary Also just noticed that Bevo's mob have lost by 50 and 51 points so far this season. Lovely to see.
  14. OMG Freo fans are as bad as WCE - booing opponents who take strong contested marks. The umpires had better be careful that they don't get lynched at the end of this game - may need a few late free goals to the purple guys. Norf have had I think 4 frees in front of goal in Q4.
  15. If the status quo of these two games continues then it will be a very satisfying evening 😁
  16. Have even Specsavers stopped sponsoring them? Sportsbet taken over the franchise?
  17. Any astute observers compare Seaston - when he gains AFL fitness - to any current or well known player’s role? (Hopefully the comparison to Tapscott was either tongue in cheek or to his build and not his footy output.)
  18. This goal kicking is getting really hard to watch. 1.9 😱😡
  19. I suspect, good news or bad, our moderators will retitle the thread.
  20. This will be a huge game for Schache. An opportunity to put himself forward in our dark hours without Max. Go Josh, grab it with both hands.
  21. Shackle for Max Petty forward for McD May in New sub depending on who does what at Casey?
  22. OMG - surely can't win from here but a good percentage salvage
  23. We have certainly learned from this debacle, that "just kick it long" does NOT work.
  24. I guess we will know in a few days.
