Max Gawn on Leadership.
Maybe a spiked headband would eventually deter a few? Maggots donβt give a damn.

TRAINING: Friday 16th December 2022
Thanks all for your reports. Any idea what Joel Smith is rehabilitating from this time?

The 2023 AFL Fixture
The word "principle" (nor "integrity" for that matter) should never be used in connection with the AFL, especially in regard to their scheduling.

TRAINING: Wednesday 14th December 2022
Thanks Deespicable for the report. Do you really think that CP5 has a mental v/ attitude problem, or that maybe success has gone to his head? If so it is a real concern as his contribution is absolutely pivotal, and it needs to be addressed asap by himself and Choko and SG. Any sign of young Burgoyne? Great news re TMcD

Best 44 for Melbourne
Action - point taken, however (in general) I don't think captains should start on the bench. The leader needs to be there at the first bounce to lead.

Best 44 for Melbourne
I think I saw shots of BBB at training without any knee bandage / support which suggests that he has recovered to whatever extent he can from his surgery. I still would be extremely surprised if he were to play more than maybe half the games?

The 2023 AFL Fixture
Throw in the Kardinia Park loading and can anyone seriously consider that the AFL isnβt corrupt?

Trent Burgoyne
Our forwards will have to retrain, or else he will have to learn to bomb it high and long !!π

The 2023 AFL Fixture
Not sure that we agree, but our disagreement has far lower interest from AFL to Richmond Carlton Colonwood and EssUndone. I guess the βloading periodβ time frame is totally in the capable hands of our training staff.

I suspect that you are right, but Hibberd without any doubt will be doing his darn deer, as he always does.

TRAINING: Friday 9th December 2022
Great to be back discussing footy. There are certainly similarities in the way they go about their games between RDB and Clarrie, but in physique I see more of CP5.

PODCAST: Jason Taylor Interview 2022
Thanks for the podcast - entertaining as usual. Jason seems a deep thinker and also looks outside the square - very modest but laid back. OMG he must watch hours of videos every week as well as hours of junior, and not so junior games. Presumably he has spotters to draw his attention to prospects, but love the dare and initiative to track down Sestan - if he turns out even a fringe contributor it will be a master stroke.

TRAINING: Friday 9th December 2022
We wouldnβt expect to see May until after midnight April 30 surely.

For Hibberd?

TRAINING: Wednesday 7th December 2022
But some areas like biff behind the play and elbows to the head have largely disappeared which would leave the likes of Nichols, Dyer, Matthews, Rhys-Jones missing a lot of games. I must say I had always thought that Wise was much taller. He was the first that I can recall who, like Jimmy later, rucked all day.

TRAINING: Monday 5th December 2022
Then those here who were disappointed we took Clarrie instead of Parish would feel vindicated.

If he goes again to Bali he needs to check on the new Indonesian laws regarding βintimate interactionsβ.

Dees Heading Back to the Red Centre in 2023
spirit - even though both are in NT the venues / conditions are like chalk and cheese. Enjoy

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
Frittata is a bit of a hybrid trek though - doesn't get the luxury feeds as the likes of Lloyd used to, and even Hawkins in the contemporary context. IF our mids / half forwards were to lower their eyes and hit targets on the lead the sky is the limit.

Extra "MAGIC" Round in 2023?
Maybe after their lack of street sense after initially announcing the women's competition as Australian Women's Football League, AWFL, only to turn it around as AFLW, they have spent countless hours dreaming up this and just couldn't think of anything better. Abut all there is to say

Jumper numbers for season 2023?
Superstitious nonsense. In fact believing in superstitions always brings bad luck π

The 2023 AFL Fixture
What a surprise. π And I wonder how long it will take for Dees v Dogs to become βa traditional round 1 gameβ. It took about 2 or 3 years for ANZAC Day to become traditional Col v EssUndone and similar time for opening game to be Car v Toiges.

Farewell Kye Turner
Should at least be fitter after a preseason.

TRAINING: Friday 2nd December 2022
I certainly hope and expect that you are right, but I am sure Luke Dunstan came across with the same thoughts.
