Jack Bowes Salary Dump
Yes - ex And some of us thought that AFL corruption was limited to the MRP / tribunal / appeals board, but âŠ.. ?? addendum : and schedule, sometimes amusingly referred to as âthe drawâ.

Frankly I would put Mihocek well ahead.

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
But beware - his American great great great grandfatherâs brotherâs second cousin may have owned slaves which means he should be cancelled.

Why did we fade out in games?
Cats had the sense / need to rotate more players though their line ups thus allowing niggles to cover a well as exposing more players. Hope we learn. I seem to recall David Parkin who wasnât all that bad a coach saying that a premiership team must not stagnate and must introduce a few basic changes every year regardless of how good they were to avoid stagnating which I feel is what happened to us.

Farewell Toby Bedford
I haven't seen enough of them to compare, but how do Bedford, Chandler and Spargo compare in their ability to tackle and make those tackles stick? Spargo does this pretty well for a small forward, and I suspect that Goody puts a lot of value in this. Have seen just about nothing of Chandler - his one run this year was as I recall a part game (as sub) v North in which he was very harshly IMO suspended for two games and wants seen again. I recall that he was going very hard at it when the incident occurred.

Farewell Jayden Hunt
I guess it would depend on what $$, and contract length, he consumed in comparison with the other two (Smith, Melksham). So hard to compare players when those factors have to be taken into account. For example if all 3 asked for exactly the same 2-3 year contracts, then Melksham would clearly be at the bottom end of the three. I wouldn't want to be a list manager - far too many variables to be taken onto account. Would anyone here?

Mitch Georgiades
But we do need to go for what is available. see below BBB is NOT a high pack marking forward and we should realise that by now - he is an excellent LEAD UP marking forward and generally a reliable set shot .... we just need to change our delivery inside 50 play

So, DeeSpencer, I gather you aren't really likely to move to the City of Casey anytime soon. Max seemed to still be doing the defensive 50 drop back up until QB when that mongrel Cox đ repeatedly, and unpenalised, kneed him in the back, from which he really didn't recover.

What's next for Adem Yze?
Hope he can spend another few years learning from / helping Goody.

Donât know enough about GC$, but do they have a surplus of âhis typeâ? Otherwise, if he is as good as some here seem to think, why would they let him go?

Still no updates re the nature and status of his injury / injuries?

Farewell Brodie Grundy
Finally, does anyone know, with certainly, the nature of the injury / injuries that killed his 2022, and their current status and prognosis? Surely this is the most important issue right now?

hang on ... we are NOT Essendon đ

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
Surely we all know that BB is not and never will be a strong pack breaking pack marking FF: great on the lead so we need to learn to do just that, kick to a lead (Harmes to leading BB Q3 2021 GF for example). Petty couod only be a better KPF than anyone else if he is played there. Maybe not quite yet, but why not later?

Premiership dreams are made of KPF
And your last sentence applies to both mental and physical preparedness. I believe they can find it again.

Premiership dreams are made of KPF
Well at least I hope and expect he will at least show a bit of flexibility in the game plan, or at very least reset what didnât (for many reasons) work in 2022. Having competitive strong men up forward makes a huge difference and gives the mids confidence that every forward thrust wonât be immediately returned. Past tense - Franklin WAS a key forward, a great athlete but well past his prime.

2022 GRAND FINAL
Didnât watch the ceremonials but did I hear correctly that Nathan Buckley was presenting the Norm Smith - the guy who regarded it with such esteem that he chucked it into the crowd? Amazing.
