Last week I watched a far bit of the Casey game. Kentfield has what Jefferson doesn’t have Intensity! Players either have it or they don’t. We need to play Kentfield before seasons end. After a poor preseason he has shown improvement through the season. He looks like he wants the ball and he plays get out of way I am coming through.

Sadly I think we already know about our list, it ain’t great after the first 15. Play Jefferson for the next few weeks ? I don’t think you will see much difference. He hasn’t turned out as hoped. Drafting is not an exact science.

Carlton miss a point. Lons straight down and goal. That says it all. Cripps must be one of the most over rated players out there tonight.

Just watching the blues and lions. It is like watching the Dees. Poor kicking for goal and numerous players that have skill levels below their lion oponents. It ain't Voss. Cripps misses another.

For the best part of two years. I would add that one of Petracca / Carrie has to go. We need the salary space to get a good KPF. Both are shadows of their 2021 form. That probably means Petracca goes as he has the best trade value. In 2024/ 2025 form Clarrie is worth little. Other clubs would only take him as a gift and we would end up paying a large part of his salary. Fortune favours the brave!

Then why is he being droped every other week.

After todays news I am double downing on this problem.

So where does the blame stop? For better or worse at the coaches door. He has been at the MFC for a decade. The playing list and FD are all his chosen group. It ain't working so who else,s fault is it?

Why BA they beat us by 9 goals a few weeks back what has changed? We are still kicking terribly. With the exception of milkshake we have no forwards of any ability. Petracca looks like he wants to be anywhere but in a red and blue jumper and Clarrie is a shadow of earlier this decade.

The thing that depressed me the most is that it is all so MFC.

I think there is a big chance we have seen our last win for 2025. We simply cannot kick a winning score. It stands out what will happen between now and Mid 2026. We will lose most games for the rest of this season. We will go into next season with with a lame duck coach and FD who are being retained because we cannot afford to pay them out. More of this year's results will continue in 2026 why will they change? From April the questions will start like they have about Voss at Carlton. After a heavy loss in the KB game. The club will announce that Goodwin has been sacked. And another year will go down as failure.

So should we move to Tassie, it worked for Fitzroy?

Human nature says otherwise Mr. Leg. There is something amiss at the MFC at present, imo part of the problem is that too many things appear to be in holding mode.

Over rated. His performance at the top level does not justify the number of games he has played at senior level. He has however been treated like Lever, he missed a lot of the pre season with injury then straight into the side. Result poor games.

Or perhaps the FD are wishing and hoping.

If I was JVR I would be asking my manager to find me a spot elsewhere. This rucking is killing his development. In his second last game he spent barely 50% of the game as a forward. He spent 30% on the bench. What's that about?
