I am not a Spargo fan. His kicking has always been poor it's not new.

The only player on that list last year who is missed is ANB and Tomlinson retired. The rest a are VFL talents.

Sadly he is very near the end. Perhaps he can squeeze out another season while we search for replacements. Sadly they are not currently on our list.

He has been the best kick in our forward line for years and has the eye sight to match.

I am not sure that is correct, Jefferson is not all that talented.

Not down on Johnson but that would not be hard. Had another blinder at Casey yesterday.

Last week we were trying to carry passengers, this week they were at Casey and we had a forward line of contributors. Go Dees.

It's difficult to pull up your socks when you don't have any on TC.

One of the reasons we lost week was the next to no contribution by JVR and Jefferson. Both are out this so hopefully we will have a better function forward line and it returns to our winnings of the previous 3 weeks. Sadly Lions by 2 goals.

I disagree, your three will not take us to a GF. Turner is a fairly good player. Petty struggles against good sides and I don't rate JVR, his best play is as a back up ruckman.

Bbp he had a poor last half of last season. He is now in double territory for poor games. Sadly there is no one to take his place. I suspect none of that will happen. Goodwin is coaching for his survival. He will be using whichever players have the better chance of giving us a win. Giving players blocks of games to see if they will improve is not going to happen

I hope Kentfield With a solid year at Casey can be a worthy player at senior level in 2026. The players who were in front of him have fallen by the wayside. A position is his for the taken if he is good enough.

I think he is old in football years and has a history of injuries over the last couple of years. I doubt he could get through a season of 22+ games. Sadly he is a week to week proposition.

I agree with most of that DRev. I think JVR is at his peak. There is no more to his ability. Early days he took a few good marks but the competition woke quickly to that and now ensure he takes few of them. When the ball hits the ground he is poor. It appears his most useful ability is to play as a average second Ruckman.
