PREGAME: Rd 1 6 vs Gold Coast
Correct I missed one game. You may well be correct, I am no big fan donโt get me wrong. However this is his 3rd year and we need to know if he has any potential. He needs to be played for better or worse.

PREGAME: Rd 1 6 vs Gold Coast
He played 1 game and kicked 2 goals the next game broke his hand in the first quarter. So saying does little at senior level is so far wrong. Finals for us is over itโs time to find out if he has a future.

Happy with it DS17. I like to think of myself as mature. I have no idea how old you are but it is not simply "a state of mind" for a lot of people as they age pain becomes a constant companion which often cannot be fixed. Believe me it drains you. Go Dees.

Agree Rtf but it seems the FD don't agree with us. Sharp is a quarter and at a stretch 2 quarter player the Lions let him go because after a number games he wasn't sharp. Kolt is at best so far a 2 quarter player. Kolt is a young player and as finals are now out I guess getting games into him is ok. They may think he is our best chance to fix the forward line scoring woys. Dropping JVR mistyfies me.

BB you know that if you are anything less than super optimistic you will be branded negative. I agree with you I tell it as I see it. Oh and by the way I was a salesman for 50+ years. ๐

PREGAME: Rd 1 6 vs Gold Coast
Jefferson is in finally, play him for the next four games even if he is poor on Saturday he needs a run at it. Give him the luxury of games to find his feet like we have with Kolt. Kolt has had most of his games playing well for a quarter or two never more than that, give the same opportunity to Jefferson.

PREGAME: Rd 1 6 vs Gold Coast
No one can remember Dr. As most on here know am no big fan of JVR however I said last year this constantly playing him as second ruck is doing him no favours. Last week he seemed to play most the first half as a forward with 2 goals I would take that every week from a kPF for a first half. Then in the third quarter he looked to spend most of the quarter in the ruck or on the bench. In the last quarter it maybe me but was he on the ground? Are we trying to ruin this guys career? This week he is dropped why? He is a KPF play him there all game. If I was him I would have my agent looking for a new home because the MFC is screwing him.

Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
Mr Leg isn't bad kicking bad football? I watch my GD's play basketball. The vast majority of games they at min play as well as their opponents and often better but are not as good at getting the ball in the hole. Result is often a loss. IMO if a player is poor at scoring he is a less than a good player. If you are consistently behind at the final siren you are a average team just making up the numbers. We have been doing this poor scoring for the 2 years now ( we are the worst in the competition) it is not a new problem. Until we get players who can convert chances into goals we will continue to be in the bottom half of the ladder. From my observation the majority of players who kick poorly have the problem no matter how much they practise e.g. big Max. You are either a reliable kick wether to a team mate or for goal or you are not. We need to change some players as they imo won't change/ improve.

Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
May zero interest he is rapidly approaching the end. Lever not a lot more he is injury prone. An ageing Tmac played better than him when he was in the team. The last two want out but we have them locked into long term contracts. Oliver would not have many suitors he has too many problems which brings us to Petracca. A very good player but the shine has dimmed a little since his bad injury last year. We need key position players, I would swap for the right deal he is the one of that group who would have a number of suitors.

TRAINING: Thursday 26th June 2025
I hope not Gw, JVR got 2 goals last weekend that is the best by a KPF for some weeks. Two again from JVR and Jefferson this week would see us win this game. The ground should be dry it will suit tall forwards. We need both in the side for the next month min. Winning should run second to establishing if players have a future in 2026 and beyond. Fingers crossed.

Time to go Goody?
I agree BA. They would be in the top four without ND. Vs the bottom five we find ourselves in.

PREGAME: Rd 1 6 vs Gold Coast
Jefferson in and I don't care who he replaces. It is probably Milkshake but he is probably in his last season all good things come to an end. Then Petty has been worse than Melksham. Probably time for both to have a rest. It won't happen but lever out for Tmac.
