Jai Culley Breakout Season?
Funny my father long ago when I was playing under 18's said it is pity you don't have long blonde hair. You need something to make you stand out. I think he was just being nice as my ability sure didn'take me stand out.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 16th January 2026
I have seen very little comment on Kolt. Is there any sign of improvement this year? I have a gut feel the top level is beyond his ability.

2026 Injury List
Your first para says it all DS. The fact that Viney might not play till April is no big deal. He is into his 30's and it's a long season I would rather him be in form in June. There are two in that list who will be missed the rest are depth players at best. It also gives a few players who could not get a game under Goodwin and we have bought in players through the draft etc who will step up some earlier than they might have expected. I doubt we will trouble the premiership this year but I think it is not being overly optimistic to expected to finish 8th or 9th

2026 Injury List
I think we can be confident he will once again be the best ruckman in the comp. I seriously doubt there is much he could learn in the pre season.

You have my vote pf. I don't think he has the body need at the top level. He had injury problems at the crows.

If there is no Vic. Team involved it will die quickly. Does any Victorian have any interest in who wins out of a SA vs WA clash. Without keen Vic people it's ratings will be terrible.

There is obviously not much to amuse us fanatics when we are worrying about the level of Sharps fitness. He is not a top 25 player. But I guess we need players for the Casey side.

PTJ It's a postage stamp why do you think the Hawks went to Waverley! The facilities are 1950's level. It's not the answer.

Mr Leg, I and I suspect many demon fans are very tired of this silence approach we have been experiencing over the last decade. That experience over a number of "home projects" tells me it is has some major problems. I worry when I see the latest President and CEO go silent. We have been here before with zero results.

2026 Pass Mark
Agree, anything above that would be a wonderful achievement. We have had a large number of changes since the end of the 2025 season.

A page or two back I said that I will never see the completion of a permanent home PF. It beggars belief that this has been going on for decades. IMO past boards were hampered by the need for it be near the G when blindly Fredy could see that was never going to happen. It would be nice for once for the board to come out and say this is the plan and we are waiting because of X,Y and Z. Instead of the silence we have endured for decades. Oh some would say we cannot tell you because we are sworn to secretresy. I am confident that this confidentiality card is used to hide the fact we are going nowhere fast as the projects of the past has shown.

There are approx 50k members and perhaps a few more supporters who don't put their hand in their pocket. A very large percentage of that number have never voted for Labor in there lives. I will be generous and say if 50k got their nickers in a not after no money being supplied to the MFC it would make no difference to a election as unlike clubs like Geelong, a membership largely in a recognised area our members are spread across the state. IMO Losing a few thousand votes spread across the state will not change the government. Actually they don't need to commit now they can easily delay for 10 months .

DD there a lot of members who could not afford it. A lot struggle to buy a membership a hit of $100 would be the straw.

An obligation to contribute! Governments seldom spend money on an obligation. It is always to make themselves look good. For a Labor party government that is broke spending money on silver tail clubs like racing and football is not a good look to their voters who's electorates are crying for funds. Just one item Take a drive around the outer west, the roads are in terrible nick with a multitude pot holes etc. There are no labour votes for giving money to the MFC. IMO finance i
