This may not be the right thread but does anyone know why Casey are playing the Hawks in Wonthaggi in two weeks time? This competition is a joke who makes these decisions.

DD Harmes wasn't out because of injury he will be straight back in after a good game yesterday.

I went to this game and was expecting it to be tight with a loss a possibility without a number of the senior good players. Our young team played well and I think we can have confidence in our recruits for the future. Laurie as usual played a great game. I am not sure if he is Senior level though. Early days and I hope he gets a senior game next weekend.

We had also been interstate 3 of the last 4 weeks, bombers Saturday was their first game away from Melbourne in that same period.

So the out going CEO of the afl has saddled us with going to SA for the next umpteen years. I might add he should have been gone mid last year. A couple of years in the future this will be like state of origin no one will want to do it. e.g. the MFC 3 interstate games in 4 weeks. Bombers were in melbourne the three weeks prior to Saturday. The Dees looked jaded on Saturday I wonder why.

The bombers actually have a quite good list the thing that has been holding them back is internal politics. Now they have a good coach who out smarted us last weekend. They will play finals this year.

Could not agree more Macca, for all those who can only see “near the G” take a trip out to the hanger. We are so far behind we cannot hear the band. Caulfield or bust IMO.

Today's I went to the game at the hanger at Tulla for the first time. What a magnificent ground and facilities. It makes you realise how far we are behind.

Harmes will be the seniors next week jnr. Put your house on it. You have my votes.

In the second half they used others than Bell quite a bit and we got more of the ball. Good performance from the team on a poor day for footy. These ovals they have here are top class. Building sheltered quite a bit of the ground from the wind. Always a good day when you win.

Think you are a bit hard on him DJ. Not exactly a tall forwards day. 3 from ten on a wet day is good imo.

First time here it is a.great complex and we have goschs.

Bummer I enjoy going to windy Hill not sure why be honest, it was [censored] when bombers played there and is now in a serious case of decay. Weather is rain and windy on Sunday should just peachy at Tulla! Looks like tv game to me.

Agree Dr. I don’t go to night games basically because I don’t like travelling home on trains and of course it is freezing. The first game this year I drove to the G. This new restriction makes my signing up for Kayo look like a great decision. I have I think 6 day games to go to before seasons end. Going to footy is now a special treat. Yes I know a first world problem.

Might need to change the name to Huddle Round.

It was worth the wait IMO. sadly way less than the time the MFC is taking to find a home.
