  1. Excellent work SJ fostering is a great service. Be proud mate with a little luck you might just create another worthy Australian citizen.
  2. The interest thing is he was drafted as a forward so it should not be a big surprise that he is a good kick for goal.
  3. Have you forgotten the one with a foot injury who never played again or the x captain who was out for two years and the faded away to SA? Or the current player who after 18 months is still not even running, foot injurys are amongst the worst. The comment was made when discussing player durability. It is unlikely but not impossible.
  4. Dr IMO consistence is our major problem a large number of our players are good for two quarters passable in one and totally missing in the other or great one week and unnoticed the next e.g. Petracca.
  5. I think that we have different views of his ability, I think he is the equal of our best players different but equal. If I were a recruiter he would be top of my list and he is available this year for a low recruitment cost. On top of that he has proven to be very durable he is seldom out injured so you get a player that has a high chance of playing 95 % of the games in his contract. Viney may not play again, Gawn struggles to play on average 66% of games, Hogan even worse.
  6. I don't think we are far apart on him Wiseblood. i have watched a lot of our players over the years who are good at everything except kicking lose us vital games. If you cannot kick well you are a liability IMO.
  7. The gig problem wise is his kicking is not AFL level standard. I did not see the games last night's but serveral have reported the poor kicking continued. Poor kicking costs games. Today I watched the tigers / giants game. Poor kicking cost GWS that game. I am not a fan.
  8. There is a first time for everything dc.
  9. Spot on Dante I agree 100% and the last para is exactly me. If the Dees finished tomorrow so would my interest in AFL.
  10. I disagree with five of the above Mr. Shadow he is easily the in the top five most valuable players. Viney, Hogan and Gawn have suspect bodies that could easily reduce the number of games they play. And their value to the team. Lever looks good but at this point he has not played one game for the MFC and Trac shows promise but has not delivered beyond that.
  11. ET there are some things I can believe that is not one of them. The AFL letting a club decide something !
  12. 100% agreement Ernest it is the sad reality of sport in 2018. If it was not for my blind devotion to the Dees I would have nothing to do with it.
  13. Just as well you had those two words in different sentences. Pinot is the nectar of the Gods and the other is the swill of Collingwood supporters.
  14. Believe me you much better off staying unenlightened.
  15. Speaking of the AFL just as well Barnaby does not work there or he would be out in the street right now!!!
  16. Sadly no Bbo only a banana sandwich today. Just came across it while looking for something else and thought it should be commented on again a grevious sin that has gone unpunished. By the way the latest Pino vintage is very good. It pays to stay in the favour of your sisters I have discovered.
  17. I am 100% certain that is undoubted cause for a banning Mr. leg. However the big problem is how we enforce it. Hmm!
  18. On that basis bb I had a very nice banana and peanut butter sandwich for lunch today. Better than a Dees win because one is guaranteed and the other never certain.
  19. The first thing needed is to get a new GM who is not one of the old boys club. Then let him work out who stays and who needs to be bought in from the outside. On the later I think quite a number. What is the chances of it happening? Low at best the OBC will not be easy to dismantle because I think it starts from the top at board level.
