Bugger compared to QLD. We got one hand out one year. The rest is what numerous other clubs get as the result of the favoured draw some other clubs get.

My anecdotal evidence ( my brother and three good friends live in SEQLD ) is that the vast majority of people watching AFL in QLD are x southerners. They watch the teams they have supported all their lives not the Suns. However it really does not matter what the actual facts are the AFL will plough on well after I am in the ground.

We are probably among only a few that understand dc. Sorry but I could not help myself.

Spot on rjay, win lose or draw we have a team that can compete with the best, I firmly believe we will play finals this year given a reasonable run of injuries. Even if we don't I am confident we will win more than we lose. We have come a long way since the days where the only thing to be decided was the size of the loss. Heads up guys this season is going to be fun.

Spot on rjay, they should not play on large ovals and if that means that all games in Victoria as an example are played on the one ground so be it. In Fridays game a Carlton player was kicking for goal after the quarter time siren it was right on the 50 metre line. The kick barely travelled 25 metres, now I know that the majority of women will never lick 50 metres but it just shows up one of the glaring problems with the women's game. IMO the only way the female game will develop to the point of being good is to have a lot different playing conditions to the male game. Perhaps AFLX is the way the female game should be played?

DJ I think we will be both in the ground before the rail yard are covered in. Re Prahran a couple of years ago at an AGM ( I think ) PJ said Prahran was not feasible. Basically no room for any development. Also think that the council was not in favour as well.

Thanks for that DA I have Been trying desperately to forget 2007- 13. The difference is that during that period one of the teams in the contest was good and watchable. In Ladies football they are both crap. my question still stands how come this is on National TV?

I watched three quarters of last nights game. There was only 5 goals in total for whole game. At present it is not as good as surburban reserves. How does this quality get TV coverage?

She is 7 and fairly switched on. It is hard to put one over her.

IMO There is one prize in AFL and that is the GF everything else is just the AFL trying to maximise media coverage and revenue raising. It is the Forest we want not individual trees.
