Now H&S it is time for a coffee and a little rest. A little bleating and sarcasm is the way a few of us get through a Football season. God knows there is not much else to put a smile on our dials. I have not seen one person on here saying they are sending back or burning their membership card. I also think it is legtimate to discuss what has bought the MFC to this point of success in 2012. Unconditional support will not improve the MFC. Every organisation benefits from constructive criticism.

RR as you have probably observed I have been a Davey critic for a long time. Of recent it has occured to me that his attitude may be caused by frustration. He has lost a little pace and that was probably his main attribute. Couple that with teams working out that a close tag takes him out of games. The result frustration and what may appear to be attitude problems. Nett result his output is done to the point that he does not deserve a spot in the team. Being as how he may be our highest paid player and has I think 2013 to run on his current contract it would appear the future is bleak for him and the MFC. What do we do with him? Clearly he deserves to be playing at Casey but can we afford a player on his salary running around at Casey till the end of 2013. I would think he has limited trade value now but if we could off load him at the end of this year it would clear his salary from total and open a spot for a recruit. Unfortunately that is the best result I can see for the MFC.

Hardtack I used to be the same, quite often went to other games but I am struggling at present. Whenever I watch another game it reminds me how bloody poor we are and the gulf seems insurmountable.

Does not look like a competent club to me. Looks no better than the sides that have been in the competition of One year and 2 games

Yes another great drafting selection. He has one attribute he is a dasher. But could not hit the side of a barn from 20 metres. Even at Casey he does not show up as a class act.

Could not agree more RR. To be traded first you have to have some value. But off the books liberates a spot on the list and salary. That is IMO the best we can hope to get

Sorry RTG but he is not. What is it that you do not understand about the MFC team of 2012? It is everything that Commetti has said. The proof is in the results of 2011 and now 2012. We are a very poor team. What is it that Commetti has said that you find incorrect?

A strange calm has come over me. Late yesterday I realised that we are indeed due for a very sad and depressing year. So I have given up all expectations for 2012. The only real thing to look forward to now is the trading period and Draft day. With a bottom or near bottom finish, comp draft picks, and talk of new jumper sponsors in September and October That should provide something to look forward to. Of course it is also helped by the fact that I will be out of town next week so I can largely ignore that result. The off OS for the next three games, in the good old USA you really have to look for AFL results to find any. So bliss has arrived no more MFC for 4 weeks, that sounds like heaven.
