Missed the game. Just checked the final scores. This is my guess how we played. Had more inside 50’s. Gave away easy gimmie goals. Gawn dominated but midfield pantsed. Missed easy set shots. Captains played like spuds. Consistently turned the ball over. mindless bombing into forward line. Am I wrong with my guesses?

So many weekends ruined this season. I now look forward to next season when most of our games are back to late Sunday afternoon. Relief it will be all over next week. Tonight dinner at a cheap Chinese restaurant. Might check the scores in between the spring rolls and the stir fry.

Like his co-captain buddy his major weakness is momentum killing ball use. More often than not when he or Jones are in contested situations and get their hands on the ball, it becomes another stoppage or it gets turned over. Sharing and quick ball movement are not in their DNA. I would be shocked if I ever will see a clever tap to advantage from these blokes.

Aside from 6 bankruptcies including his casinos, Trump through bad judgement helped cause the USFL and his gridiron team the New Jersey Generals to fold in the 1980’s due to the ludicrous idea that they schedule their matches at the same time as the NFL. We are a bad football club but with someone like Trump at the helm will see us plumb bottomless depths never reached before and oblivion.

Viney tries hard but overwhelmed by injuries and lack of skills. Jones 3 tackles in his past 5 games says it all.

Good to see Brisbane challenge for top spot. Sadly they are where I expected us to be at this stage of the season. Hopefully it a blip for us but just as likely a firmly shut window. I wasn’t impressed with Maccas work at the Bulldogs and things look no different over here. Appears to be divisive and polarising figure. Then again he has had to work with some prime Prima Donnas who are very highly paid but of ordinary output. There are others who’s influence are questionable. Sometime I compare Viney Snr to a Connolly type. The rot extends to the core of our administration.
