It was a football crime to play an ageing player on a 4 day break, who is obviously past it, injured, slow and plays with zero defensive pressure in a must win game. Judging from the consistent dross served up by our players over the past decade and longer it is obvious they are incapable of being shamed for their efforts. It’s like screaming and yelling at the Moon. Nothing to see here.- Swans in Cairns for 2 days vs Demons less than 5 hours - why?

He also schooled Jack Viney into his head banging game style. Seriously has anyone ever seen Jones or Viney tap a ball to advantage to a team mate when under pressure. I haven’t, they seem to want to eat it all for themselves. These two have been momentum killers for years. Jones would have been delisted several years ago at most other clubs and Viney has too many bad habits.- Nathan Jones in 2021?

My cousin was a mechanic for Jaguar. His advice was don’t ever buy a Jaguar. Many of the V12 engines were removed and a Ford or GM V8 installed in their place. Conversion kits were an aftermarket money spinner. They tended to overheat badly and burn valves. The straight line 6 triple carb E Type was a beauty and far better car if one could afford the service and general repairs.- Nathan Jones in 2021?

As I have been saying for a long time, Jones cant play out a full game anymore. We are effectively a player short in final quarters. Nil possessions in the last quarter yesterday night reinforces a regular pattern of mediocre last quarters since the end of 2018 season. That is aside from his all too regular turnovers, lack of pace or defined role. If we make finals he will be a huge liability.- POSTGAME: Rd 14 vs St. Kilda
A bigger concern for Jones than his turnovers is that he can’t play out a full game. Again he failed to get a possession in the last quarter and spent the last 10 minutes on the bench. Been happening all season as well as most of last season. We can get away with it during the regular season but will kill us if we get into the finals.- GAMEDAY: Rd 14 vs St. Kilda
