I will wait until the app is up and running. I still am annoyed at the “new improved” AFL app from a couple of years ago when suddenly the size of the viewing screen was reduced to phone size on tablets.

I am not sure this Kayo app can be watched on full screenTV’s. May be only for mobile devices.

The AFL App on Telstra will be integrated with Rupert Murdoch’s Kayo sports app and AFL App users on Telstra will now pay for the Kayo app. This means all other sports now on Kayo including NRL will be included. Some will be happy and others including me will not welcome the bloatware of sports I’m not interested in and having to pay for it. Telstra customers will only pay $5 a month at least for the first year. Ben Brown has better career contested mark averages than Josh Kennedy, Jeremy Cameron and equal to Jack Darling. He is in the elite group of contested mark takers in the game and has a 67% goal scoring accuracy for shots on target. In the top handful goals per game scored. Cant get better than that in the modern game.

Jacko never liked teammates upstaging him or trespassing in his territory. Robbie must have gotten under Jacko’s skin early. Bulldogs were also crap that season. They only won two games in 1981 and one of those wins was the return game against us.

And Wacko Jacko kicked 8. Flower must have used him as step ladder as Jacko rarely moved outside the goal square.

89 games with 44 goals. Averages 22 disposals a game and 2.5 tackles. Had a fairly ordinary season this year by his standards in this disrupted and truncated season. I’d jump all over him. He would be a great get and only 24 years is yet to hit his prime.

IIRC I believe he stayed on the field to the bitter end with his injury. In his final season Flower reinvented himself as an effective forward. Dipper was school mate of mine. A perfect gentleman in real life.

And Flower retired as our leading goal kicker in our breakout 1987 season.

Tired of reading about culture and Jones all in the same sentence. Our culture has been poor for decades but completely pathetic ever since he’s been at the club. He’s done bugger all to improve it and if he is the heart and soul of the club then there is bugger all to it. Results speak loudly and he’s been the standard bearer for the crappiest culture in the competition.

A telling moment is if you can, watch the video of his attitude when he left the field during his last game for us against the swans and the look of Goodwin’s face. His exit papers were stamped then and there.

I said about 6 months ago that if Jones get s another season the club ain’t fair dinkum. He has already gone two seasons too long. No other club is as comfortable with mediocrity as we are.

He’s just not made of the right stuff to make it as an elite key forward. Lacks mental toughness. If he ever turns it around it’s a miracle.

I don’t get it; both partners have demanding careers that are incompatible with living and family arrangements as well as a young baby. One has to take the sacrifice for the kids sake.

We need a premiership so that we can be all be warm and fuzzy with each other until at least the following November draft week.
