A psychologist I know told me this. "A psychologist can only help those who want to help themselves. And those that really want to help themselves dont need a psychologist". Make any sense?

He was never serious. Just keeping his name in the media circus relevant. Good timing to finally come clean after keeping the story bubbling for a year.

We need a proctologist to extract the players heads out of their arses

You were lucky you just saw the scores. As hard it is to believe, the abomination that was our performance was much worse than the scores indicate.

Viney suffers from the same disease as Nathan Jones. Courageous player who can get the ball but hasn't got a clue what to do with it. First instinct in the stoppages is to protect the ball and buldoze his way free rather than getting it out quickly by whatever means to a freer player. These two are strangling our clearance work and Jones has been doing it for years. Another issue with Viney is his kicking especially around goal. Put him in a set shot outside the the 45 degree arc from any distance and he is almost no chance of kicking a goal. Has a lot of positive qualities, courage, work ethic, hardness, strength etc, shames more than half his teamates but I am starting to question if we can ever get any meaningful offensive play out of him. Everytime I see Sam Mitchell play I bemoan why Viney cannot be like him. No one is immune to criticism when they are a key player in the worst ranked midfiled in the comp.

Melbourne asks for draft assistance

Could a priority pick be traded for a little elan to share amongst the current players? They are the ones that need help. -
It has been my opinion that he is already long gone and that waiting suitors are just a myth. If not so and he does get passed over we should just delist him anyway for being such a destabilising and selfish prique.

I wonder when Roos is going to make the change that has dared not spoken its name all season? Namely dropping Frawley. Who cares if Kennedy kicks a dozen and we only get 3 or four goals. Small humiliations compared to what we have been through so far and just as likely to happen with Frawley playing. Time to see a ruthless excision rather than the usual juggling in and out of the usual suspects every other week.

The way I see it, if I bet $100 for WC to kick the sweep I might win enough money to buy the jar of jam. If we play out the game at an AFL standard to our best abilities we may just get under the 40 point losing spread. I wonder what incentive we need for us to play at out best.

The odds wont pay much.

Maybe "its not cricket" to say this, but some of our recent results seem like they have some engineering going on. More likely I'm just looking for a conspiracy to explain away what are trully inexplicable performances. Then again I could have made a lot of money betting on score spreads that give the best value involving our games recently.

This performance has set us right back to the darkest days of last season. Difference is, there was some hope of positive change back then. The last few rounds of this season was supposed to give us some positives in hope for a better next season. The players just don't give a fark. Instead of gutsing it out they turn to complete jellyfish. What kind of merde exists in their heads to put in rubbish performances against sides we should be able to beat yet mostly play reasonable against better sides? The cynic in me is starting to think there is something corrupting going on. Its going to be a miserable post season for supporters with nothing to keep up enthusiasim.

Been too crestfallen to post anything game related since the Brisbane game. The disgust has gone beyond what words can say. In protest I have changed my avatar to honour the collective cowardice of our players. It will remain indefinitely as long as it is deserved.

He was traded for a bullshyte late 80's pick just to get rid of him. He is a No 1 ruckman. If he is as smart as they say he is he should look for a club that will give that role permanently. Would love to have him back to replace Jamar.

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>
John Crow Batty replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
Eddie despite his big mouth on everything football related has been dodging and ducking the doping scandal for years and perhaps with good reason. I hope he suffers from reoccurring nightmares. -
Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>

I imagine Little and Essendon have far more real tangible evidence that even ASADA have to what was given to the players. Of course if the welfare of the players is their number one priority, then no doubt the players have been told what was given to them and BTW. Pigs fly. -
If looking for an indefinite time sickie certificate he might be the go to doc.

All part of the cunning devious plot by the Scully's and Richmond first implemented when we drafted him to eventually get him to his spiritual home at the Tigers. I'm sure GWS are getting to the stage where they would desperatly love to offload him. The Scully plan is to devalue boy wonder so much that he becomes a free set of steak knives.

A trier who seemed to give his best at the tail end of his career. Best wishes for the future. Perhaps a good prospect for an assistant coaching job somewhere.

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>
John Crow Batty replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think I have mentioned this before. A woman that worked for me told me several years ago that her husband who is an undercover detective was part of a police raid on Hird's house in 2004 or 2005 in relation to PEDs. I was incredulous at the time but this was also later mentioned in the media when the drugs scandal broke out. Nothing came of it at the time. All to do with that Charters fellow. There is a possibility he has a long track history with dodgy drugs. -

GOODBYE MR. CHIP FRAWLEY

Whats wrong with listening to our offer and then saying something like "thanks, I'll think about it and let you know at end of the season"? Surely the club would have been in a position to present him our best offer long ago. Makes no business sense to not try to know where he stands with us. He appears to be doing his best to drive a wedge between himself and the club. If true he is refusing to even listen to the clubs position it surely means he is gone IMO. -
The umpires are just as bad as our players.
