Melbourne - Picks 3, 4, 12, & 22 (Viney) GWS get Morton for Round 4 Pick and GC get Bate for Round 4 Pick in deals not too bid for Viney. I think both of these guys will want out. Especially Bate!!!

How about we use Pick 4 on Jake Stringer???? and Pick 13 + a player too try and snare Dayne Beams???? Pick 3 obviously to be used on Jack Viney unless we can get him at 2nd round.

I think we will definitely give up a first round pick for an experienced player. I have mentioned targeting Sidebottom & Beams and passing on Cloke in another topic. But Beams should be a priority for the Dee's with Sidebottom close to signing with the Pies. Especially having already worked closely with Neeld. I'm thinking $500K a year for 4 years should do it and Pick 13 & a player for the Pies. I also rate Wellingham highly and would target Koby Stevens also.

He is playing in a different role to what you would like obviously! Be patient. He is hungry and will prove he is worthy of being in the best 22. Neeld is making him versatile. I have great faith in James Magner! Dont worry about him. He will make the grade and prove all doubters wrong! Worry about Bate making the team & Morton holding his position. There the worry!

Well! Well! The Bulldogs were prepared to take Bate with Pick 30ish. And I'm sure Morton would have interest elsewhere because he has age on his side and stands over 190cm. Whether it's pick 30 or 54 another club would take him. Simon Buckley found a new home at the Pie's! Pick 85. He rates well behind Bate & Morton. And hey! He is playing senior footy with the side on top of the ladder. There is no pulling wool over anyones eyes! Pick 4,13 are great picks in this draft. A Bate or Morton are two players who can play senior footy straight away if need be. Both will be at new clubs next year and playing senior footy!

I don't think he is contracted beyond this year. I think he is one of the most under rated player's in the comp. AND WE CAN"T AFFORD TO LOSE HIM!!! Priority Tim Harrington!!! Keep the poachers away. Apoligise if he has signed.

Pick 4, 13 & one of Morton or Bate. I was going to put up Ricky Petterd but do think he is a required player. If he cant break into the side and string together 5+ games for the remainder of the season though, I can see him put up for trade at seasons end. Should come in for Green at some stage. But does have his work cut out if a Cook or Sheahan overtake him. Morton, Davey, Bate and Green would be very lucky to still be a Demon next season. I was going too add Sylvia & Moloney, but I am inclined too keep.

Sidebottom & Beams. Lets get these two into a Dee's jumper! Pass on Travis Cloke. Would $600K a piece get them over?

I agree! Cloke will be staying at the Pies anyway I would think. He aint goin anywhere! You would'nt think Dangerfield would want want to leave the Crows the way they are travelling. BUT! 800K and go home factor could be tempting. We need too trade for 3 or 4 experienced established players. Dangerfield, Jon Griffin, Koby Stevens, FA Goddard. The exit of Moloney, Jamar, Sylvia, Davey should free up some more cash. We could trade Pick 2 for Danger?

The players are pitiful! If Neeld could wipe 80% of the team and start with a bunch of 18 year olds he would. There are so many on our list that need there ticket stamped and [censored] off. We should see one of the biggest player movements at season end in league history!!!! I expect too see the backs of Moloney, Bate, Morton, Davey, Green, I dare say it Sylvia and Jamar, etc. The list goes on. We need fresh experienced players!!! Our players just dont have the qualities Neeld requires and no heart. I'm sick of seeing players run too contest or chase half hearted.
