Cheney in for Garland - Can play on a small and deserves his chance. Bartram or Bruce to tag Gibbs and the other to play on small! Scully to run with Judd and tackle tackle tackle! He's got the engine. No McKenzie this week. We got Gysberts!

We need to play 2 regular season games and 1 pre-season game there per year. One of those games definitly has to be before the split round. The other I think should be early in the season. Round 3 or 4! Or even Round 2! Both games need to be agianst interstate teams. Port + other. Maybe GC or GWS! Freo would be my pick.

Looks as though our new emblem might involve a flag and shield. Thats based on the soccer emblems ive looked at. Collingwood already do something similiar! Maybe its the pic of Aussie celebrating his goal agianst Freo! Ha Ha!

I think we might see Jetta get the nod with a late withdrawal. I am guessing Jamar might need a spell to freshen up. Spencer to take his place allowing Jetta to come in. I cant see us playing two ruckman in Jamar & Spencer on a hot night in Darwin. That would be crazy! I think we only need one to take on Brogan and Trengrove. I just think the Redlegs would be more acceptable on a community and commercial level. I still like the 'Demons' but feel the 'Redlegs' should be more prominent. I think the 'Melbourne Redlegs' could become a Melbourne icon internationally aswell. I believe the name the 'Redlegs' also makes us more prominent than any other team in the AFL. I feel it!

I think the Melbourne Football Club can increase there membership and following by changing there current nickname the 'Demons' to a more acceptable name the 'Redlegs'. Being a past nickname would allow an easy transition by current members I would think. Or even better, use both. However, using the nickname the 'Redlegs' on a far greater capacity. I find particular groups are not attracted to the MFC because of there demonic name the 'Demons'. I think of the Red Sox and White Sox in the States. THOUGHTS or any other ideas?

North deserved the 4 points! No doubt. But the umpiring did definitly snuff us out of a challenge in the last quarter. 3 goals given by umpire no. 6 to North killed the game.

I am a male and think women should only commentate if they have played football and are lesbian!

As I am a woman also i do not mind there involvment but they should stay away from commentating. She was terrible and i had to turn it off cause i just could not stand her.

No way! We need a key forward not another midfielder. Our midfield bleeds talent and will be one of the best. Thompson is too slow and his age and possibly his best football has passed! Thompson will be at the Gold Coast I would think! We need to target a forward who can crash packs out of the square and take contested marks! ????? Or at least develop a player to do this! ?????
