  1. Ok, I relented and tracked down my post: Nonsense... as has already been mentioned in this "discussion", the news that Hogan would like to remain a Demon is NOT new information at all... it was in the press on July 21 and the only difference is that GNF is claiming that he got the info from the inner sanctum:http://www.watoday.com.au/wa-news/melbournes-jesse-hogan-shuts-down-dockers-advances-20160720-gqaa8f.html
  2. The six month timeframe actually first appeared in a newspaper article (I referenced it in an earlier post in this discussion, but can't be arsed looking for it now).
  3. That was absolutely heart breaking.
  4. Loved the byline: "We're 35 years into a 5 year plan".
  5. I'm not sure that to have validity my comment is dependent upon Roos being at the club next year (particularly given the context; that is, the comment to which I was responding).
  6. It certainly helped Neitz back in the day... wouldn't hurt to try it (although he does seem to take on a bit of a roving commission anyway).
  7. But I'm not talking about panic stations as far as the MFC is concerned... Roos knows as well as anyone that Hogan's currency will not be diminished in the least by his recent form slump.
  8. Nah, apparently body language transcends all of that.
  9. Well, Hogan has a contract until the end of next year, yet it's panic stations because he hasn't extended, over a year out.
  10. Well, applying the infallible body language test that has been used by Demonland experts, that must mean that Stringer is off to another club as well?
  11. Depends on their body language.
  12. The entire trilogy is brilliant!
  13. From the moment I heard Ricky Don't Lose That Number, Steely Dan lost me completely. The fact that Skunk Baxter played for another bad that I could not stomach (Doobies) didn't help matters...I did however like Don Was with Was Not Was.
  14. Really, I wouldn't have thought he'd played enough games in the ones this year to invoke that rule (has he played any?). I would have thought that as far as Casey is concerned, us playing ANB would possibly preclude him?
  15. Last I heard was that players earned promotion to the ones by performing consistently well at Casey. JKH has done exactly that by accumulating high numbers of possessions and kicking goals in recent performances (best on ground last weekend I believe?). So if Garlett is not fit to play against Carlton, then why shouldn't he get his just reward?
  16. I don't think they'll let him run...they'll want him to be able to run out the full four quarters of the grand final.
  17. I would not be in the least bit surprised if Hunt eventually trumps them all.
  18. I think Hurley would be worth offering Garland, Dunn and a pick as a trade... both players are unlikely to play in the ones next year, but are still good enough to fill any gaps in Essendon's back line.
  19. He was one of those I said were very close, but he was never going to make the AA side as there were far too many better performed midfielders going around at the time. To say he missed out because he is a Dees player is absolute nonsense... sorry, but I'm tired of these conspiracy theories.
  20. Tired of this "woe is me" attitude... we have not deserved to have an AA player in the past few years although we have had a couple who were very close.
  21. I quite like District 9 and thought the directors most recent film Chappie was also very good.
  22. Santa Claus vs the Martians is pretty bad in a very good way.
  23. Haters? I would have thought "Doubters/Sceptics" would have been more appropriate terms. It would be interesting to see how many of your "fans" would have been lauding your post if it had been saying that Jesse was 100% gone... I get the feeling you may have had an entirely different (and probably much larger) group of doubters than you currently have
