  1. West Coast and Collingwood for me. I hate both with a passion.
  2. I was always taught that in a pack you keep your head up to avoid injury. Duckers put themselves at risk.
  3. I am very certain Jack is a well liked and respected player and person. Just watch the reactions of Hogan and Jeffy when Jack sends a perfect pass or kicks a goal. He feeds Hogan and others beautifully. Now it is time for Jack's teammates to do the same.
  4. I go back further. Hard to beat Mopsy Fraser and Max Oppy. Then there was Jack Dyer! Umm, all from Tigerland.
  5. ANB looked so powerful physically in the recent photo as a Casey player. Has he filled out or was it just the photo? I thought he was just a skinny kid last year. He certainly deserves selection.
  6. Retired Physical education teacher. Well known students,Trevor Barker, Davenell Whatmore and Bohdan Babijczuk ( You know the one some always blamed for our injuries).
  7. The Weagles were the umps pets last year. Won the frees for count by a huge margin. Duckers!
  8. Yeah, I did find the statement just a little confusing.
  9. And I hope he gets enough games to show his worth. He has been treated cruelly in the past. Dropped after just one game several times.
  10. Rance 1.94cm 93 kilograms Jack Viney 1.78cm 84 kilograms. Huge difference in size but Jack absolutely threw Rance around like a rag doll not just once but twice. Strong as a bull is our Jack.
  11. Good news as Viney's contact with Rance was deemed to be with an open hand. All clear. Buggsy was fined a grand for pushing an injured player.
  12. I remember the Ox doing just that in that famous finals win over the Blues.
  13. What a great response from Viney after the Rance cowardly act.He is so super strong for his size and he dumped a bigger guy Rance in no uncertain terms.
  14. Robert Davis McKenzie 111. As Bob McKenzie once said, "It's a pretty fancy name for a boy from Prahran" Also interesting that his chief rival for best half forward flanker was Bob Davis of Geelong. Robert Davis to be correct.
  15. I think you will find the current count is now 8. Including one anonymous.
  16. He was also number 2.
  17. It would mean a lot mate. I read on this forum that Beeb played footy at the same school as Andrew Moir. He said it himself. That makes three of us now.
  18. When I saw the heading I thought ,"Oh No! Not someone starting a JW negative thread". So glad it was not that as Jack has done everything right this season. He is showing his true ability now. Edit : I now notice the heading has been changed which is more accurate in its meaning.
  19. It certainly does to me ManDee. I was there a long time before you though. Matriculated in 1956.
  20. As well as young Oliver.
  21. My thoughts exactly. 7 matches for 5 wins and two losses. And what a great losing effort against North who are a seriously good unit. The Essendon game was our only black mark. The beauty of it is that our kids are starring so early in their careers. The future looks fantastic. Also, we are kicking good scores this season. Good old attacking footy.
  22. Not defending May at all. Ablett, however did make it worse by pushing Martin into the oncoming May. 4 weeks minimum I would guess.
  23. Should be very mature when required. May have even evaporated away!
  24. Two weeks ago Paul Roos stated, " We will prepare for Essendon's best" And we all know what happened there. Now Craig Jennings comes up with "We will prepare for 'Pies best" What hope have we got now? A bad omen do you think?
