Hawthorn, Freo, West Coast and Sydney still my tip. Port have played two very middle of the road sides, possibly even lower than that. There was a sustained period where the Crows had all the momentum and a good side would have put the foot down and made more of an impact on the scoreboard. Certainties for finals though, you would think. You'd be loving life as a Port fan right now.

The continuing saga of Melbourne's injury list - 2014

All you seem to want to do on here of late is be a smartarse and pick fights. Maybe take a holiday, or stop acting like such a plonk. One of the two. -
Port will be challenging GWS and Gold Coast for flags. Watching Ollie Wines is painful.

Agreed on both counts. -
I'm not crazy about the font Stu but that demon head is a ripper. Menacing enough without looking, well, satanic.

Where? I've checked several times. I must be going blind or stupid or both, cause I can't see it.

Would be very interested in this if you can post it. I am hoping that the majority of supporters feel the same way about the logo - that it is awful and needs to be binned asap.

I think this clip sums up my feelings about the injury list, and the MFC in general. The club is the little red car..and Basil is me. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=usmKc2JQzIM -
Juddy for sure.

Ease up, no-one's pillorying him. I'm commending him on a(nother) decent game for the Tiges. He was one of my faves and I believe he should still be playing for us. C'est la Neeld. -

Ah right you are. A 1 point loss? I'd take it. Sadly I don't think it's going to be anything close to that. -

Stanrge comment. 24 touches at 75%, 4 clearances, 9 inside 50s, and a flying punch through the goal at the end which helped seal the game in a tight finish - a change of fortunes for Ricky (*cough*queensbirthday*cough*) -
"tightness" "conservative approach" "2-3 weeks away" My response to these is now on par with "it is what it is".

I agree, but we must also be mindful of the opposition we were facing. i.e. a not very good one. Progress will be measured with a bit more meaning this Sunday.

I've stopped watching Misson's reports as I no longer trust anything he says, so in that sense I would have to agree with you BB.

Fitz will play surely? The noises coming from Roos indicated he was likely. We need him BADLY for this game. T Mac and Watts likewise. Have to take what you can get, and the fact it isn't at Subiaco is a small blessing. We went toe to toe with them for a half the last time we met at the G. It was arguably the best football played under Neeld. They have alot more personnel back now but physically I think we can match it with them. The Eagles showed last week they don't need to have a majority of possession to do the damage, so it's not just about winning the contested ball, it's about using it well inside our forward 50. I'll be watching closely to see what lessons are learned from last week. A forward line needs to be manufactured, and our midfielders need to lower their eyes with their entries. Bombing it in time and again won't work, and the Eagles are lethal on the rebound. This is a test for Roos to see what he can conjure up and the players to see how they can execute. The effort last week was fine, we just need to minimise the clangers/school boy skill errors by about half. Spencer and Gawn will need to play out of their skins, and we must take advantage of every opportunity that comes our way if we are to remain competitive. We need more cool heads. The Eagles are top four material this season imo. A win is near impossible, but I'm vaguely hopeful that we can make it a contest.

Some of your finest work LDC.

He has raw talent, but his output didn't justify keeping him. I had no issues with us letting him go and my view won't change on that. As much as I hate West Coast, I hope he does well there.

Massive call. About on par for me at the moment.

I'd be lying if I said the key forward situation wasn't seriously starting to grate on me. I'm trying to be patient, trying very bloody hard, but it's just ridiculous the luck we've had. At this stage, I'm leaning towards Dawes being a mistake. So damn filthy at our luck with these guys. So much promise, sitting in the stands, or not even that. End rant. Sorry fellas. Had a gutful atm. I think Saturday is still burning in my gut. -
LOL Just ludicrous. Actually I take that back. Ludicrous is giving this too much credit.

Great summation binman.

I hope it looked better on tv. Watching it live was a painful experience. A diabolical game where there had to be a winner but neither team deserved it.
-
What can you say really.

Hopefully Roos pulls the trigger early.
