Lets face it if this was a another club we would probably be saying they dont deserve one. We have had heaps of priority picks over the years and stuffed some of them up. It hasnt helped us become successful. Look at other clubs who havent bottomed out who draft well and are successful. I guess i would be happy with one but if we didnt get one then it may make us actually focus on developing our players but if we did get one you wouldnt want to stuff up.

You know what annoys me about these articles. They keep going back to Paul Gardner for comments. You had your chance and didnt make it work. Your great idea to get into China failed and you made errors to. Shut up and go back to your work.

Lets face it. When we lost Jim the [censored] hit the fan and we lost our soul. It seemed everything just went downhill form there. Im not sure there is another coach in his first 18 mths that has had to deal with so much crap. Yes I know Neeld has had a hand in some things but im not sure there is anyone in football that has had the whole football media against him.

I have no issue with Cale and what he said at all. At least he didnt bag the club like certain past players. he admits he didnt put the work in. Interesting they interviewed him though when he cant get into the seniors. I think the media are just trying to get the chance to bring us down more. he is right. And WC have the most money in there footy department and have good training facilities so and have played finals so of course there training would be harder.

People get over Sheedy. he has said if he was offered the coaching job back in 2007 he would have knocked it back. So he was never on the cards. I want to see how Neeld goes when we have our best 22 on the park. Where we have grimes and viney in the middle, clarke and dawes up forward. See what happens there. yes I know 4 players wont help in those thrashings but at least we would get the ball out of the middle and have to tall targets to hit. Both are great marks.

I watched it and thought at 1/4 time our loss would be worse than essendon. I knew we wernt going to win. Im not sure what can happen. Its not like you can give them a dose of confidence to drink. At least we arent nth melbourne who again gave up a lead. 9 minutes to go and they are 30 points up and lose. They are expected to make finals. Richmond the same. Failed in a big game. I hope the media put the heat on them. We are crap there isnt much more to write about us that hasnt already been said. We should just get to the bye have a few days off then get back for the 2nd half of the year.

Watts is playing down back so someone has to be dropped. Out of the backline who would have been dropped. Dunn maybe for his woeful kicking out but he did kick 2 nice goals. We need some of the new boys enthusiasm rubbing off on him. Look at Terlich, Matt Jones and even Chris Dawes. Even Toumpas is rapt to be playing AFL. But Terlich and Jones have gone in put the effort in every week and get the numbers.

I forgot all about the different injuries he had. He showed some old form last week. His accurate kicking and him kicking goals again. He should go around to Neelds house every week. I remember reading how he has players over. At least they get to see the family side to Neeld instead of just a coach.

Lets face it we hung Watts out to dry when we made him a poster boy of the club, put him out here as a skinny 18 year old kid still doing year 12 on out biggest game of the year when collingwood were doing well and they just belted him around. Look at essendon and how they have handled Daniher this year. They havent thrown him out there. I know the talent is in there somewhere. Its up to him to get it out. I will be disappointed if we lost him even worse the club he goes to turn into something special.

Do you reckon he walks into Neelds office and they talk about the good old days at collingwood when they were playing finals, winning and of course the premiership. Viney is out 4-6 weeks. He just put it on twitter when someone asked him will he play next week. The rehab room has more talent than the team playing on the field. I hate injuries

You have to remember Dawes has to get used to our players. He is used to having players like Swan, Thomas, beams and pendlebury kick it to him out front beautifully delivered. In ths team he doesnt have these superstars delivering it to him perfecly. He will get used to it and the way we play. How good will it be next year when Dawes, Clarke and hogan line up in the forward line. Big bodies there.

Im not sure who will be back but Toumpas will miss and hopfully Watts is back so he can go forward and help Dawes. do we drop Nicholson or even Jordie. Viney maybe ready to come back. Also do we give Max a rest and play Fitzpatrick?

what i enjoyed today The fact we were still in the game at 3/4 time Our tackling was so much better Watching Davey go back in time and play when he was really good, is goal kicking and passes were great today. Thats the Davey we want every week Jetta just some little things he did wer n ice but that dropped mark he did from daveys kick was unforgivable Frawley getting the ball and running like he used to Evans just gets better Trengove is still trying to find his fitness levels. He barely had a pre season Dawes. Loved his leading and he chased. How I wish Clarke was in the team right now to help him Magner. How did Josh Mahoney go from forward line coach to footy manager? Its like we wanted to get rid of Josh but instead we thought hang on why not put him in charge of the department.

No I meant what the Ox said about Neeld and his coaching. Im not sure Neeld would want to work along side a guy who doesnt think much of him. We all know Neeld can speak the truth and I applaud him for that.

Neeld wanted Moloney to play a defensive game as well which didnt seem to work. Moloney coasted through under Bailey and Neeld tried to push him harder. Look I loved Moloney but he didnt believe in the coach either so whats a coach to do when a player doesnt believe in him. I reckon these shows get ex players on because they know they will get a headline out of it. Yeah its a free world so if he wants to speak out then let him however maybe he could look at the class of some past players that have been moved on and not bagged the club. The person who had every right to whinge and bag the club after wrongly getting the boot was James McDonald. But he handled it well and didnt have a go at Bailey or anyone.
